Adhesive for Pop Roof front lip

What adhesive can I use to stick the lip which is at the front on my pop top.

Usual answer would be PU Adhesive?

3M do a lot of very similar tape but with different adhesive.

I'd look for explicitly mentioned VHB (Very High Bonding?) tapes as they are designed to be structural bonding.

If you want to check specific series then the 3M guidance is here, you probably want one from the Paints series:

I've just checked the end of the roll of the one I used to refix some trim on the XC70 but I'm afraid it's just generically marked "3M VHB" on the tape itself and not a specific series, sorry.

For what it's worth, mine was stuck on with Sikaflex of some sort (by Westdubs who made the roof). If you're going to use 3M VHB, suggest you use the widest that fits and also apply 3M adhesive primer.
