Should you decide to go for a lithium LB in the future, the IP 22 can't charge different profiles from each output. I'd be tempted to fit either 2 separate chargers, one for the LB & one for the starter, or simply fit a maintainer like an AMT-12.

You could fit an AMT-12 which would be useful in other situations.

Which is why you need a “wild camping” setup. Plenty of solar/lithium/AMT-12. Problem solved. Don’t forget that these are commercial vehicles & were never designed to be campers. If we want them to serve a purpose for which they weren’t designed for, we need to make allowances & adapt them.

There’s a very valid point, I am already considering changing to lithium at the same time as doing the mains as my current LB is about 7/8 years old so can’t have much life left in it. I know I’ll need to change my DC-to-DC as the D250SA doesn’t support lithium. Probably go with a victron one...

2nd recommendation for the Ablemail AMT 12-2 here, if you've got a big LiFePO4 battery and/or solar, it's a literal fit and forget option. My SB never goes below 12.3v now.

Was that a pre-made kit for something? The thin cables will be ok for the AMT once you have crimped the spade connectors that come with the AMT. The 2 black cables will be ok for the Orion negatives but likely too long and much heavier duty than needed for a short run with an 18A charger...
