Yes I've done it. I tried several methods but found a die-grinder with a burr removal bit to work the best. Anything else I tried, just heated up the plastic and it clogged up the tool.

Yeah, that’s why I mentioned them to you. They did my Audi alloys in silver and made a brilliant job of them. Also did my mate’s devonports in Matt Anthracite. Can recommend their work.

I have a silver van and really wanted the Matt bronze Leighton LV1. When I went over and put one against my van it just looked awful. So I bought the anthracite/polished instead.

...and a jetwash and they come up fine. Only actually touch them every few washes for stubborn dirty marks.Also, I wanted Matt bronze but when I put one against a silver van it didn’t look good at all, so I went for the light anthracite. I think you might find the silver looks really good as it is.

I had a set refurbished by a mate they were done matt black undercoat with bmw ferric grey on top, they looked very good. P.s I have a set for sale soon just being refurbished with Jamie in chrome ……
