    What Have You Bought Today?

Welcome to "Club Cantera", although with them being black they are at a higher rarity, rather than the common low life standard silver!!

    19” Tyre Recommendations

I’m finding it almost impossible to find a all season tyre in 255/45/19 which would be my preferred option.

Hi @Strettyp Those tyres will give a rolling radius/diameter about 7% larger than an OEM 17” wheel/tyre setup. They could well fit, depending on whether or how much your T32 is lowered. Fit without rubbing could also depend on the width and offset of your 19” wheels. Afraid it’s a little...

    19” Tyre option and fit

255/55/19 is huge in Transporter terms, it would result in approx 10% increase in gearing over factory wheel /tyre combinations and a proportionate reduction in braking power. Your speedo would read miles out too. (under read)...

    T32 Wheel Options.

Just a quick note after reading this. I would stay away from that package. The tyre is too big. Look at 275/40/19 or 255/45/19 and the offset is too high and will rub on the suspension. HTH

    Side on Sunday.

Ok, so the van wasn’t too shiny, but some app on my phone made it look shinier :think smile bounce: New wheels, which I’ve wanted for ages

    Amarok Wheels on a T6

I would choose an All-season (directional) 235/50/19 or 255/45/19 are both ideal also IMO

    Big wheels kill MPG?

I would agree. When I made the below statement, I had accounted for the difference the 3% change in diameter. In contrast to this my BFG KO2's have crucified my MPG. This wheel/tyre combo I am using, means that my speedo and GPS speed are 100% matched, but my Long Term Average MPG on the MFD...

    19” Tyre Recommendations

Having ran both 275/40/19 and 255/45/19 I would pick 275 since it's closer to the rolling radius if the wheel is wide enough, but 275 will be too wide on an 8.5J so 255/45/19 will be the better option in your case. Neither look odd and both will work fine.

    19" Amarok Cantera Wheels

There may be more choice with a 235/50r19 which is almost identical diameter to 255/45

    19” Tyre option and fit

Low profile tyres and “chunkier” are counterintuitive concepts! I suggest going to at least an 18” rim to achieve the look you want

New Inovit Rotor & Frixion 5

You can have 245/45, 275/40, 265/40, 255/45 on the T30. On a staggered set of 19s I would go with 245/45 front and 275/40 rear. If it's the 8.5" all round I would go with the 245/45. Loads of choices from many manufacturers in both sizes.

    Tyre Wear - 20" Wheels

The first set of Avons I had on mine wore just like that. 255-45-19. I found that 36PSI was the sweet spot too. I think that unless you fit rock hard, never heard of tyres, 10-12k is about all you'll get out of larger diameter wheels and tyres. Despite being load rated, I really don't think that...

No, you are correct. That’s the price per tyre. I’m hoping to find them locally cheaper.

VW Alastaro 19" Alloy Wheel pics

They will fit, but will need a smaller tyre than the Amarok ones. 255-45-19 is a popular choice. Benefits are purely cosmetic.

    Big wheels kill MPG?

MPG has gone down the pan since I changed from my 19" wheels to 17"! I think that the op is correct in that the original wheels and tyres will show more mpg, (Due to genuinely being better on fuel, but also because of reduced rolling diameter makes trip computer tell fibs.) Big BFG tyres on my...
