Set of four Minerva frostrack 2554518 winter tyres with 5mm+ tread .
103 load rated.
Collection only (Inverness) although I'm travelling to Glasgow tomorrow . £130
My wife has a new T6.1 camper conversion fitted with 255/4518 tyres, I am finding the pressures a little confusing
on the van label loaded pressure 48psi all around
light load 44psi front and 36psi rear
I am thinking all the Campervan conversion kit must weigh a fair before adding 2 dogs and...
In my experience which is 70k on a lowered T5.1 and T6 no it's not normal to scrub inner edge if its well aligned.
I had my lowered 50mm T5.1 set to half load due to advice from garage and I did over 30k on set of Falken 2554518 and they still had a good few thousand left in the when sold...
I currently run Accelera PH2 255/40 20 and have previously ran the ST68 in 275/40/20 and 255/4518. Wear is very good, they have a reasonable rim protector on the sidewall, pretty quiet and OK grip. They get poor reviews in the wet but I've not had any issue. I do run Nokian winters Nov-March...
Bump ^^^^ same Q's After diging more Agilis crossclimate seemed ideal but unless I'm wrong no 18 inch wheel size..so is there another make of tyre very similar to Mich agilis crossclimate that simialr V shaped tread pattern but only more blocky if ya like than crossclimate 2............ in...
Pair of 2554518 Minerva Winter tyres.
103 load rated.
Very little use so around 6-7mm left.
Have another pair of Falkens winters as well but they have inner tyre wear and one has screw in it.
£110 for the Minerva. I'll throw other 2 in for £20 if you want.
FWIW this is the sticker VW put on the door pillar of my T5.1 (t28 highline)…
I keep coming back to it trying to decide what wheels to go for when my tyres need replacing. I want comfort above all else (and my 215/65 16 don’t give me that) and I keep reading posts on this forum and others that...
Hi guys , I have found a set of 18’ dish alloys that I want and they come staggered . 8.5j front and 9.5 rear , obviously 2554518 tyres for the front but I have no idea what size is right for the rear ? Any help please ?
Do they still fit them as well?
I had these on our camper and by themselves they calmed our T28 down on corners and completely removed it's tendency to crash and pogo around like some mosh pit maniac.
We had 18" Momo Revenge wheels fitted too with 25545 tyres and in some ways should have left...
My mechanic did a rough measure of the space under the spare wheel bracket and told me 28.5" x 8", however I knew you could pull the pin (12) and get a bit more space.
I bought a tyre for my 17" alloy spare - 225/65 R17 (28.5" x 8.9") and it just fits.
This is a very close match for the 20"...
Hi, mines a T6 T32 running Wolfrace Munich 18’s (8.5J and ET 42) with 255/45/18 tyres and Bilstein B14 Komfort Coilovers kit. As with many others before lots of dithering between 18’s or 20’s! But, have to say ride handling and comfort of the van has been transformed and am very happy with how...
18" satin black Dezent TE alloys with 255/45/18 Hankook Icept Evo 2 tyres. These are direct fit, no spigot rings or different bolts required.
The minimum tread depth is 7mm and the wear is totally even as my van had standard suspension. The tyre date code is 3417. They're in great condition...
So currently running 18 inch toluca alloys with 255/45/18 and lowered 40mm... getting around 10k miles on the fronts. Considering changing to 235/50/18 to see if that improves the life of the tyres and improves the ride.... anyone else swapped over..? Any issues with rubbing..? Cheers
