Are you trying yo stop the the rain falling between the van and the awning.
If so, I fitted the Fiamma rain guard, pretty easy. Can take pics if you need.
I've also found out how to silence the rattles from the casing if upu are interested.

I don't notice any wind noise from the pop-top, wind deflectors, gutter strips or the Fiamma wind out awning unless I have the window open - biggest noise in my van (besides Jo and the dogs!?) is pots and pans rattling in the cupboards - don't even get a lot of that driving at speed on decent...
I had a Fiamma F45 on my T5......I don't remember it whistling but it DID rattle a bit. Mine would not come off when not in use. I'm looking to have one on my T6 but I'm not sure I want anyone drilling through my roof?
