It’s likely the LEDs will trigger a dash bulb warning light. You can code this out with VCDS/OBD11, not so sure about Carista.

They are not as white as the DRLs. I’d say they are nearer 3500-4000k. Quite a bit whiter than normal bulbs but nowhere near the LEDs. My DRLs go off when dipped headlights are on so they are not seen side by side anyhow.

Anyone have any idea what the drl/main beam bulb is on the t6.1. I want to change it to a whiter bulb because the yellow standard halogen is awful looking with the drl on. I checked the manual but doesn't mention the type of build.

I look for the hole in the reflector with the little bulb sticking out. Hole outside of the bigger bulb =H4 Hole to the inside of the headlight =H7 And as @dubber36 says, H7 with the DRL under the main reflector, H4s just a black void!!

So although website states they are compatible with T6 they are simply too long?? Worrying as I've already ordered them.

Are they LED, the Drl bulbs ? Yes, coding is basically to switch off the bulb out warning on the dash.
