Thanks. It seems quite a few go for the all in plan. Might have to go for it.
Just been told that the center I wanted to use for the service + diagnostic, they said the can't do the diagnostic till at least the 17th but can't do the service next day. Really need the diagnostic done as well to be...
Thanks Mick, good to know.
I’ll check on the works being done elsewhere. Was your extendedwarranty part of the “All In” deal.. (2 service, 2 yr roadside, 2 MOT and 2 year warranty) ?
I was successful in the end. The warranty works well for me. Not so much the VW dealership who hadnt contacted them when assured they would. All sorted.
Our 2017 T6 should be ready in a couple of weeks. It comes with the retailers 6 month warranty but someone sensible on here suggested it might be a good idea to extend that. I've had a price for 1, 2 or 3 year extensions and it's not too bad. It's with Autoguard - anyone got any experience of...
I've just tried to book my van into Listers Coventry Van centre to have some warranty work done on my van using my extendedwarranty. They cant have it in before April cos they are busy.
Once again my ACC failed whilst I was driving, the Carista reset I'd done previously fixed it for about 1500...
Update...
As expected VW ExtendedWarranty have declined the work, stating the noise was probably there before they sold me the Warranty back in January. Neither I or they can prove or disprove this. Maybe when they offer to sell us an extended warranties they should check the vehicle first...
How do I get the extendedwarranty? Via a VW dealership or I think you can do it on line these days as well.
Can I get the extendedwarranty? Yes
I phoned my local VW dealer, and they said they cannot help. They're talking bollox and obvs don't want your custom - try another one or go o online...
That's interesting.
Standard warranty is 3 years.
Factory extendedwarranty is additional 2yrs.
No product recal afaik.
You need to ask the garage what warranty cover is paying for it, as the garage will be charging someone for the work. And it would need to have been authorised.
Good will...
We just started it two weeks ago.... So far just the MOT has been covered by it.
But the warranty and extendedwarranty has covered tons of stuff.....

Hi, how difficult were VW in replacement of the unit? Am about to start this process with them - I have extended VW warranty, van has full VW service history.
thanks in advance. George
Had the Flywheel replaced and picked the van up today at my own expense even tho it was in the last month of extendedwarranty. Vibrations gone, engine quieter/smoother and feels like a new van. Which asks the question, why did VW turn me away twice, stating to me it’s normal to hear a spanner...
...vehicle is a Motability vehicle, so unfortunately I would not know if yours will be covered under all in 1 (I presume this is a VW extendedwarranty name).
Just make sure they check both as mine had to go in 3 times to get the root cause fixed, which was both abs sensors damaged.
I blame...
