I changed this MAP sensor that stays on the underside of the IC, it was totally blocked by old oil (see picture) and the mass air flow sensor.
At first it did not helped much, and I planned to also change EGR cooler and clean all pipes but then suddenly it was longer and longer from time to time...
I felt (based on the usage as a camper rather than daily user), and with estimated annual mileage of 5k to 6k to have a first service at 18 month (7000m) and the second service/MOT at 35 months (14000m), just within warranty, and ready to leap onto a new service plan at 3 years.
The oil service...
Had my EGR replaced last year on warranty ( VW approved used AND I paid for the “All-in” Service Plan).
The symptoms described here sound almost exactly the same as mine pre-EGR replacement, except mine had the added bonus of the adblue range changing randomly as well while driving through...
Our trip to Norway in May is fast approaching after much research and planning and excitment is starting to build.
We are planning on being away for a month+ assuming all goes well and to plan.
Still researching various finer details and nothing will be set in stone, apart from our departure on...
Also is your software up to date?
I am having issues with mine and my dealer under Allinplan has said that until the software is updated they cannot exclude or replace the head unit/SOS unit however they want to charge me a few hours labour circa £300 for the privelege of updating the...
The all-in service plan is now down to £27.75 per month again for anyone who was waiting to see if discount would come round again. Presuming due to it being the month of Black Friday?
I've got a starlink mini with the roam plan (only the 50g). Can't fault the service 150-250 up speed at all times.
When our contract with Sky is over I'm going to upgrade to unlimited and get a 2nd dish for home.
£150 is steep but when you take out sky costs it's really decent for having 200mb...
Thanks for that - I’ll give them a try for servicing.
The van came with its next service at VW all paid for by previous owner via a plan but on reading many posts I’ll be taking it with some apprehension I think!
Cheers
Hey all, I'm looking for a garage to have a look at a suspension re-jig. Im currently on a low 100mm drop and 20 rims: but I'm planning on a camper conversion and want to have a less aggressive suspension set up and reduce to an 18x8 rim, but still with a tidy tyre fitment.
preferably in the...
Oh yes I’ve already been plotting and planning haha, I’m sure the drs must be able to prescribe something for it!! Got to say though the front end just gets better and better by the day! You know it’s good when every time you get out the van you can’t help but look back at the van and smile so...
Hello all
Longtime lurker but finally signed up as I now have a T6.1. I've read and learnt a lot from the forum over the years and it's been super helpful inplanning my purchase and build. :)
I took delivery of my van last week. It's a T6.1 Startline T28 Panel Van. The plan is for a day van...
Oh No ! I had this exact situation but VW were more than happy to let me cancel my old plan before 10th and restart a new one at the discounted rate. I think someone on here previously suggested it.
Today I have removed the roof rails and installed new roof bolts. Planning to install the awning rail in the coming days but need to get some sikaflex or tiger seal to squeeze inall the bolt holes (both sides) and then seal the rail down also... perhaps
I just prefer the look without the rails
