...After a 300 mile journey through the night, EML popped up and Carista says "exhaust gas insufficient flow A"
My specialist says, either new EGR or blank off EGR.. likely going to be expensive.
I had the inlet manifold replaced earlier in the year due to excessive carbon build up.

Hello, can anyone recommend a garage or mobil to blank and map out the EGR on my 204BiTDI T6, I'm in sunny Stoke-on-Trent, but willing to travel a short distance, many thanks
So my van has a Pendle remap. The EGR valve has died. The garage says they could just do a delete but it’d need mapping out but they can’t do it as my van is already remapped. Is there now way round this or do I have to get a new EGR?
Evening all,
Does anyone know the part number(s) for the front EGR pipe, gasket and bolts? I've seen a few posts about it all coming as a kit but I can seem to find them anywhere? Failing that, the gasket and bolt part numbers would be really useful as I have the PN for the pipe itself. Many...
Hello, Im about to remove the EGR system on my T6 CXFA.
But i was wondering instead of just install blocking plates, can't i just remove the whole EGR cooler/Valve and just plug the water hoses?
Thanks :)
I just replaced the EGR valve and cooler on my CXGB 2016 T6, and it seems to be running well. Do I need to do any calibration / adaptation with VCDS or similar?
Afternoon,
I've read about the Tafmet EGR simulators on this forum and think this is a good solution to just blanking/mapping/replacing the EGR.
It seems that the majority of them are for the BiTDi engines and there is nothing directly listed for the EU5 140 engine. I wrote to Tafmet who said...
Hey guys,
Had the tdi400 remapped this week at a local place in Perth.
Only reason was to map out the EGR function and stage 1 tune. Not blown away by the tune in the slightest having barely noticed a difference and also when I picked it up on Tuesday and plugged Carista back in the DPF was...
So EML light diagnosed as EGR valve failure, the warranty company have okayed this part but won't authorise the EGR hose as they say it's a none mechanical part. How can I argue against this. Garage said it needs doing
Rear small EGR modified pipe. Part No V04L131521BH and gaskets. Fitted at 46470miles and removed at 50854miles. Only changed as new modified turbo required different EGR pipe. £50 plus postage.
...We have a 2018 T6 2ltr Euro 6.
A few weeks ago we had the orange engine light come on and our carista gave the following fault codes:
15560 – EGR Sensor A Circuit Range/Performance
25126 – Databus error value received
We cleared the codes and went on a very long journey (Birmingham to...
...my journey to Portugal, however, the van was running completely normally.
I have taken it to a reputable garage in Portugal who tell me that the EGR radiator has a problem and needs to be replaced. They suggested that I can drive the van back to England to have this work done.
What is the...

I have a T6 2.0 TDi 104 ps I've owned it for 5 years and in that time I've had the EGR flushed under warranty once. Then had it replaced by VW dealership and then flushed twice more (as warranty work after the replacement also...

Sorry if iv'e posted this thread twice.
i need to fit a new EGR valve, £600 notes from vw van service centre but they don't issue a vcds adaptation code.
They informed me that i would have to book it in to be recoded.
Is this correct?
Thanks Kev
Good evening everyone! I have a T6 2017 with 60k, got a couple of faults that I have picked up, oil leak from crank seal and sign of leak on front EGR pipe. Good news is that the warranty company are agreeing to cover the crank seal and labour. They have however said that any associated parts...
...came on. Topped it up and it happened again a week later.
I’ve just had a Vw specialist look at it and this is his diagnosis
“Removed front EGR connecting pipe and visually inspected with endoscope, EGR cooler heat exchanger showing signs of coolant loss internally. Advise replacement EGR...
Evening all.
Apologies if this has been asked before, I have done a quick search but can't find a definitive answer.
The time has come for my EGR cooler to throw the expected leak. The one currently fitted is part number 04L131512T.
My question is, is 04L131512CF interchangeable? I can find...
...fault on my 102 T6 a few years ago. I thought fair enough 50k on the clock. Not overly pleased but was expecting it at some point and so had the EGR valve and cooler replaced using OEM parts.
What's really annoying is that after only two years and 14k it's blocked again. No leaks anywhere...
