I was involved in prototyping that valve, unit cost was key to get the contract, reliability was a bonus. IMO it was too flimsy, on the very edge of reliable injection moulding. Says a lot about priorities.

Thanks for that. A bit confused tbh. I'm waiting to hear what If anything vw will do in terms of gesture. I don't expect anything but we'll see. I'll take it to a Bosch vw spécialiste next week for a second opinion. Thanks
