I may be wrong (I often am) but I went the same path and I believe the bulb warning can only be switched off by VCDS. You can only reset it via Carista each time it flicks on.

How have you found adjusting the beam left and right? The adjuster screw is at the point of not being able to get to it.

I went for these, as recommended by others earlier in the thread. No bulb warnings unless your starter battery is really low which may trigger a warning. It clears next time you start after the battery has a bit of charge. LED DRLs
