Thank you guys , it turns out I do have a H4 set of bulbs. On the hunt for good set of bulbs and pray they come out as I would expect. If not, then it’s all about trial and error I suppose? Any recommendations is welcomed though :)

Sorry to be a pain again guys but my h4 has a p21 drl bulb in the h7 the drl now becomes the main beam do I have to change the connector I thought it was just plug and play but their two different bulbs

Depends on your headlights. Do you have H4 (with the DRL in the large reflector near the centre) or H7 with (DRL below the low beam reflector)? They use different but standard bulbs and can be changed with reasonable ease.

Been on since Christmas Eve, much improved night visibility compared to the H4. Obviously not as good as the LED on my newer Golf GTi but worthwhile upgrade.

Don't forget, you will have to buy a complete set of bulbs with these, so not a straight comparison. Patience young Chris! Put the "H4 to H7 upgrade" thread on watch.
