Weird, I've been using DAB for years, live in the arse end of nowhere but travel all around the country with work and 90% of the time i dont have any DAB issues in the T6 or my Golf....I listen to a combination of BBC stations or Radio X.

Dab signal is still useless in the uk unless you are near a big city. You can get active aerials that help a little. Still cant believe they rolled out dab with it being so flawed, still!!

Not sure which side they’re on, but the T6 mirrors have DAB aerials in, and they’re also heated. I thought the T6.1’s DAB aerial was in the pod on the roof?

I'd check that they actually connected the DAB antenna or that it's correctly routed through the adaptor loom. What does the fitter say?

I prefer the strong yellow bulbs for driving in fog. Cuts through the mist better than white. Not to everyone's taste in colour though.

Hi there, did you ever get an answer to your question? I have previsouly bought a Road Angel DAB stereo and plan to fit it in my T6. Did you need to buy a fascia kit or similar to integrate the head unit into the plastic stereo/vent cover so that there were no large gaps? Kind regards, Scott

Would heated screen interfere with windscreen mounted DAB antenna?

Probably removed/disturbed the 12v power supply to the aerial. I also have a T6.1 and the DAB reception seems rubbish, so want to fit a separate shark fin aerial. Do you have a link to what you used and the connections it has? Also, is it a combined fin that also does GPS and FM?

Bit the bullet and bought a dab radio capable head unit from Absolut5, with a dab sharks fin and reversing camera and fitted it all in works time, pay back finally! Thank you @Absolut5 for all the help

It's been back in today for the fitter to look at it and they don't really know what the issue is. They think the SOS is interfering with DAB reception and / or possible some interference from the loom adapter. They're going to speak to the loom manufacturer and Alpine and get back to me...
