Hi All, I've lost all of my DAB radio stations on my standard head unit on my T6. When i rescan it doesnt find any stations. Any ideas why?
I had a solar panel fitted over a year ago and Im pretty sure the DAB radio was still working after the fit, although Im not 100% as the van has been parked...
Just another quick request on this please, do you have any pics of the unit whilst using the DAB radio and CarPlay? Presume the DAB receives station logos too? I have read online you can upload them manually to the Dynavin? I presume you’re still using this unit with no long term problems /...
...units ran when I put some leds in and it threw the bulb warning light. Mine are the lumro ones, they’re ok not amazing so will be replacing them in time with what @CAB has recommended. You can do them ok in situ if you got patience :) but I’ve got to be a dab hand at removing the bumper now;)
...to not damage the paint work.
That module for me caused an SOS error and when i replaced it the error went away. I didn’t cut the one for the dab so not sure if if that also causes the same error. But you’ll need both the dab Ariel and module in your wing mirror for everything to work.
It’s...
I have just bought a T6.1. FM reception non existent, DAB intermittent, SOS error on dash.
I've removed passenger door card and mirror to find that the aerial wire that is earthed on the door passes into the bodywork but has been cut. When I opened up the mirror the rest of it isn't there...
Thanks @roadtripper I’ve found the aerials in the mirrors when I added side assist, and I’ve also caught the cable for the LTE antenna (SOS) on the front middle of the roof. I need to replace the LTE antenna so thought I may as well put a shark fin up there with DAB, GPS, LTE etc
In a 6.1 the DAB antenna is in the wing mirror, see my post here:

Where are you taking power for the dash cam from? Some can put quite a bit of noise on the power line which can then re-radiate it like an antenna...
If it’s DAB you want, an aftermarket aerial seems to be what most agree works.
Or stream it via CarPlay / Android Auto. The VAG RCD330+ is a cheap and cheerful replacement that has CarPlay.
Forum trader @Dav-Tec may sell these and / or other OEM units, allowing you to retain PDC, sat-nav in...
...1) Are the correct part numbers 5H0035820D and 5NN919605D?
2) is there any other component(s) I need I.e. gps antenna, different loom etc.?
3) DAB is cr*p where I am so is it worthwhile swapping out the original LTE antenna and replacing with a LTE/GPS/DAB sharkfin?
4) is this a straight swap...
What I was looking at was actually a DAB antenna windscreen mount. Not GPS. There is one available though but it’s a bit of a clunky bit of kit. I’ll persevere with my workaround until I get annoyed enough with the thing to sell it for something else I think.
