Out of curiousity, did you actually check the oil level before doing the 1000miles? They are only supposed to be filled midway between the two marks on the dipstick apparently.

Update Van went into Marshall’s VW Bridgwater Somerset today and fair play the service and attention to my problem was very good, it was a split EGR pipe which they had in stock and replaced under warranty. Obviously there is a big problem with this but my dealer seem to be on top of it.

It's just that's all I seem to hear and see is lots of problems with the t6s, just been away and on our way to Wales had an AdBlue issue, turns out it was just to sensor not picking up AdBlue in the tank and it cleared itself after 50 miles, put a bit of a downer on the trip though...

Had my EGR pipe replaced 3 weeks ago.....1st time, 30k miles on a 204 DSG. It was split too.

204 owner here too, and other than a couple of poorly designed EGR pipes splitting which cost £20, mine has been faultless from 0 miles to the current 65k Love it.

Jeez wept! That’s appalling. The only ones who’ve touched the van are VW and they can’t warrant their own work! You couldn’t make that up
