Sounds about right. I had an sos module replaced and it wiped everything so had to get it recoded by Bognor! Bit of a pain if I need to get that done each time something is updated. I want the infotainment updated and know the same will happen!

That update has cured the SOS error for another member on here which I'm still getting, also I believe wireless android auto! That's my main reason for wanting the update...
My van was back into the garage today (Parkway Leicester) for a missed software update on the audio system and to fix the "SOS error" which turned up last time it was in for the Bowden cable warranty fix.
I'd had a conversation with the service manager over two weeks ago regarding the SOS error...

You need a thin plastic trim tool & T20 Torx driver.
Pop the light diffuser off, pop the SOS bit down & the airbag one using the thin trim tool round the edge of the rectangular sections. They are just clipped into place.
