4hrs or so on the autoroute from Calais last night (oh how smooth are the french roads!) and first stop overnight in a free parkup, not far outside Le Man's I'm glad I brought my windscreen squeegee, the stuff committing suicide on my windscreen last night was crazy!

Bloody good cover too, its proper insulated :thumbsup: . Even better I've now lowered it to £45 posted

Got *exactly* the same issue after a windscreen replacement - "camera out of position", local VW centre saying to fit an official VW windscreen and "try-again" with the calibration.. they did the dynamic drive-by and no luck, they also reset the base settings and tried again with no luck as well...

Spent last night just outside Girvan, which is definitely better than just inside Girvan. Ice on the outside of the windscreen cover this morning.

No rear wash wipe, as a novice my next port of call is the scuttle . Do you know if I need to remove the windscreen wiper arms etc to gain access to the area?Thanks

I have a 6.1 and heated windscreen but not sure what you mean by "windscreen button on screen display" I have OBD11 with a subscription so I can have a poke to see if I can find anything if I know what I'm looking for.

Glad I'm not the only person to do this - gentle grip onto bonnet edge, hoik up on wheel. Clean windscreen, rinse and repeat on other side.

Good evening. Finally had my standard windscreen eplaced with a heated windscreen but it doesn't seem to be working. The button on the dash illuminates amber for a few mins then goes off. The guy who fitted the screen did mention that there was a wire he didn't know what to do with on one side...

Anyone get a knocking/ slap noise from the blade edge hitting the windscreen edge?
