No mate, it was soft rubber and molded to the shaft. Taking it off caused the rubber to split and break up into bits. I did post photos on here at the time so as to warn others off trying it.
Just to add to the anxiety, the van gave me a 'Low oil pressure, Engine off!" Warning for a split second on the dash. I'm sure it's just messing with me now
I’’ve hardwired a split in my EHU cable at the van end. One goes to the van EHU, the other to an IP rated 13 amp socket in the awning (Or tucked away under the van if no awning).
He said he had to split it there as he couldn't break it away at the ends where it should have come away. There's a couple of places around here that he will probably use.
Also, I’d ordered a complete wire kit for Victron from split charge relay. Presume that is now not needed and can go back? If I’m going to use existing wiring
I wrote about what happens with split charge relays, stop/start and equalisation here:

Sorry - I need to update the thread as they're no longer available. I believe you'll need a whole new unit they don't appear to split like that Halogen lights.
...how to get into discussions , if you can help let me know , I have t6.1 and have had problems with AGM Leisure battery running them flat and split charger ( Sterling Power ) not charging the battery fully even after long drives , reading up on this forum it appears the regen start stop...
...at it?
I'm not trying to cast a shadow over your purchase but I do wonder if the belt snapped and bent the engine. Another belt could have been put on and purposely split to try and pass it off as a close call.
It would be beyond immoral but, sadly nothing would surprise me from some dealers.
