Some of the rear lights on some T6s are famously dim, particularly reverse lights, you just don't hear about them as much given how much more folks notice the H4 headlights being like candles.

Make sure to enable both bulbs on when on main beam.

My job this evening was changing my H4 headlights to H7s. Looking forward to driving in the dark now to see the difference!

He's got a T6.1, so the H4-H7 thing doesn't apply. @Texas2981 have a look here

As @JumpShip says do you have the H4 or H7 headlights? The H4 units seem to be just inherently a bad design, noticeable by the sheer number of threads about people upgrading them to the H7 units or LED Jump in to one of the main headlight threads here...

THQ should be bringing out their full LED lamp units for T6 soon (unless they already did and I missed it). I’d go for those looking at the video of them, just my 2p worth.

Okay a last Check I can buy a set of h7 headlights with F markings for 200 euro's. By comparison, a h7 unit with LED lights in them, how is that compared to a full LED head unit? By percentage? Like units equiped with LED: H4 =20%, H7 = 70% Full led = 100%? How should i look at it? I...

I've just remembered ! Have you got the crappy standard H4 headlights? Osram Nightbreakers, £20 ish, best bang for buck upgrade there is IMO.

Bung in some Novsight N60 led H4 lamps, they come with a ballast looking box to keep the canbus lamp monitoring happy and boost the voltage to the lamp to maintain light output. They'll set you back around £50 and as they have fans on the back you'll have to modify the headlamp access caps...

Thankfully I just need to swap my metro plates! Even then not sure they'd fail it! Got till Sept to wait unless get a cancellation. Was up on 11 April I think! Good old NI!

Hi All I have a few mods I'd like to do before I go down the new headlight route, so I thought I'd upgrade my bulbs to these, only trouble is, they've bow thrown an error light on the dash. Do I need anything to correct this? If not, is there a bulb anyone can recommend, as these for over £40.
