Gents, thanks for your responses, been really helpful to rule out some theories. No other non OEM connected other than tracker, don’t know how that is powered so will take it back to the converter and ask them to investigate. Will post a further message when I have an answer. Thanks again.

No need for this on Moving Intelligence. Their Sentinel S7 includes an alarm and a S7 tracker. If the alarm is triggered it initiates a response from the control centre. If the van moves normally they track it 24/7 and will only respond if the owner calls them to notify them of a theft. So no...

I used Ghost Installations for my Immobiliser, Tracker and Dash Cam and didn't have any issues. They used a 3rd party installer who was local to Aberdeen.

No use for OP now, but when I insured mine with JustKampers I had 30 days to have the tracker done.

And as Dellmassive mentions the voltage fluctuations noted here are expected in an MPPT situation as the tracker tries to find the best combination of voltage and current to maximise power generation.

Had similar problem wrt a tracker. Try Comfort Insurance - they had the best price for me and they give a 14-day grace period within which you need to fit the tracker. Agree though, arranging insurance on a camper is a PITA.
