To be fair the temperature gauge in the VW vans is fairly pointless anyway. It can be well out (like 20 odd degrees) compared to actual live data via the OBD.

Obd reader/ display is a cheap and cheerful way of displaying all these extras that vw thought weren't necessary. Not quite as cool as a digi dash :cool:
