Set of 4 Niche 8.5 x 20 goss black alloys each with Falken Azenis 275/45/R20 tyres. Tyres have only covered around 3k miles and have plenty of tread. Removed from my 2020 T6.1 T32 at 20k miles as I am going another route in terms of looks. Very good condition - fitted with rim protectors so no...

Selling this RIB 150 Altair fixed frame bed that I've removed from my 2018 T6. In fantastic condition, no marks or tears or any signs of wear at all - I don't think this has ever been slept on! Only reason for sale is we found that going back to the original kombi setup suits our needs better...
I’ve had blower control panel hydro dipped in carbon fibre and the clock surround/plastic panel above the glove box painted gloss black.
Gloss black parts look the nuts, hydro dipped bit looks cheap when compared to the real carbon fibre steering wheel. I’m going to have it covered with real...
Just changed over on my van (T32) set of davenport 17” alloy wheels with continental 215/60/R17C tyres with locking nut key. Covered 1500 miles only. £400. Barnet North London.
M5 nut rivet in 1 M5 bolt and its solid. I was going to fit 3 along the back and 3 on the floor but this 1 M5 bolt is so solid. Dont like the plastic bolt cap but had no other way to fit this threshold
They would have been great you could align them up then press into holes. I will use...
I would definitely pack the gap out with something so it is the same level as your mat it will make laying the ply floor easier.
Also top tip - when you cut the slots in the ply floor make sure the ply doesn't rub on the spring clips that hold the rail covers as they will squeak and drive you nuts.
As others have noted you will not be able to drill the HSS ezi-out or what ever else has snapped with a HSS drill. It is possible with a pure colbalt drill but I wouldn’t attempt it without a custom made drilling dolly as it will certainly drift off centre.
I would use a direct strike to the...
@t6blo
Not familiar with what you are fitting, but when I fitted my inverter and DC-DC into my drivers seat base I did the following:
With the seatbase removed, there were 4 unused holes in the underside of the seat base, 2 on each side.
I used these to fix a wooden baton to each side of the...
Slightly off topic seeing as it's not specifically about solar panels, but it's linked to the chat above. I'm slowly mulling over charging options for an EF power station. I don't want to use the 12v socket too much because
1 - I might melt it if I charge at 8A
2 - It's not ignition switched so...
A right royal PITA. Make sure you have a wiper arm puller before you start otherwise you won’t get far. I got mine from Amazon, worked a treat. Also don’t lose the wiper arm plastic nut cover as they an extortionate £3 each
Also get some decent anti cut gloves.
A few weeks ago my kombi Sportline finished its warranty cover and had its first mot.
This is my 4th transporter but its been the most troublesome with numerous visits for warranty work.
its had
2 carbon mirror covers( pealing lacquer)
3 different bits at different times fitted to the passenger...
maybe get some battery terminal covers for the battery,
and cover the metal hold down bar with cloth Tesa tape?
To reduce the risk of any short circuits if the bar rattled loose?
maybe also swap for Nylock nuts to stop them coming loose?
