    Lifting with dcc?

And ordered, it’s I bit lower than I wished for (25mm instead of 35mm), but worth a try. It would be nice to keep the DCC. I’ll leave a post when fitted and tested, thanks for your advice

    Upgrading Suspension under £1000

Hi I’m looking to upgrade my T6 18 plate Kombi’s suspension as the ride is somewhat wobbly if that makes sense. I’m not a mechanic so any advice is greatly appreciated. I’m thinking it could be lowered too. I’ve got around £700 to play with. Thank you ☺️

    Coil spring advice

Can anybody recommend or advise on choice of coil springs on the rear of my T30 transporter T6. I just had a failed MOT for broken spring (on furniture/driver side). This was spotted at only 31k miles. I would like to upgrade the springs. I do not want to lower the ride, but i would like to...

    Advice on lowered amount needed

Hi all, so I’m due to collect my “new to me” first ever t6 on Friday!! Need to look into insurance and I’m wondering if I’ll be asked how much it’s been lowered when I say it has been. It’s from a car dealership who don’t know how much previous owner lowered it, it’s got coil overs is as much as...

Review: CRS Performance - Koni Definition kit

Kombi on 20” - Ride Height Suggestions

Is yours an empty van? Yours does look very high, aka std height. Std height is 470mm from wheel centre to arch at the front I believe. Mine is a Caravelle which is heavier than a std van, and is 20mm lower as std. It's had 30mm lower springs fitted to replace the std springs. So that would...

    Side on Sunday.

Apologies for dragging up an old thread but i am looking for new tyres to fit a 4Motion on standard suspension but wish to fill the arches better ( without lowering) as current 255/45/R18 on T6 Sportlines look far too small ( as many on this Forum have agreed). I was trawling the Forum for...

T6 Caravelle - What springs to lower slightly?

Hi, I have a T6 2015 Caravelle which has just failed the MOT on two snapped rear springs. Seeing as these need to be replaced I thought I may as well put some lowered springs on it. I don't want to go daft as I camp a lot, have 5 kids and use a large trailer when we go camping. I was going to...

Leisure Battery - accidentally drained, what next?

Oh - thanks for that advice. I checked the voltage (on the control panel, the only method I have) with the fridge still running. I'll do another check with it off.

New T6 Owner - Any advice welcome

Hello! I'm about to join the T6 Caravelle club, and the more I look at the practicality and opportunity with these, the more excited I am getting! I am hoping to pick up the vehicle shown below on Saturday. One question I have is whether it looks like its been lowered/whether its the size of the...

    Bigger alloys without affecting comfort

Same advice as provided to the OP - PM @CRS Performance, discuss your requirements and follow his advice. He's 2.5 hours away from you, but you'll really enjoy the drive back (or, if you'd prefer, Steve can supply parts for local fitting).

    20” alloys - how’s the ride?

Looking to change from our current 17” Devonports to a larger alloy on our T6.1. The current price drop at Leighton has me looking at 20” LV-1’s… Our suspension setup is a ‘Definition Kit’ from CRS. Not sure of the drop but not ridiculously low as we drive a lot to the Lake District, Snowdonia...

    Best Comfort setup for towing?

Hello, jumping in on this thread as I've read a load the last day so looking for a bit of advice on suspension. Have a 2019 T6 T30 DSG, day van conversion; rock and roll bed, under seat fridge with pop-top and solar. Its on factory suspension and 17" Devonports. Van went for a service and I've...

    Lowering And Wheel Alignment Issues?

In my experience which is 70k on a lowered T5.1 and T6 no it's not normal to scrub inner edge if its well aligned. I had my lowered 50mm T5.1 set to half load due to advice from garage and I did over 30k on set of Falken 255 45 18 and they still had a good few thousand left in the when sold...

    255/55/R18 or 235/55/R18 Tyres for a T32 4 Motion?

My T32 4 Motion (manual) currently stands on 255/45/R18 tyres on T6 Sportline wheels, the Tyres all need replacing but my opinion (echoed around this forum) is that the 255/45 tyres look far too small on a T32 and i wish to fill the arches by Tyre upsize as i do not want to lower the suspension...

High pressure fuel pump disaster- is remap to blame?

The 84-140hp engines appear to use the same pumps, so in theory should all be good. I've never dealt with mapping but sure others will offer advice whether to take it back to factory tune. I can feel your pain though, I've been through this earlier in the year. Luckily I only had parts to pay...

Suspension advice on an ‘05 T5

Evening all, I have recently become the unexpected owner of a 2005 T5 SWB Kombi with 71k on the clock. The last MOT gave the only advisory as one of the rear dampers needing attention. I’m of the opinion that I should probably do all of them as at this age, it’s not going to be long till the...
