To the Disklok in general.
The Gold is fairly recent, just minor tweaks to increase lock reliability.
The Diamond only came out a few months ago and has a special steel blend in key areas to resist angle grinder attack, but for all these improvements I - and we as a team - never came across...
Sick of the Disklok sliding around in the footwell… so I spent an hour making a very ad hock temporary solution whilst I plan the build. Screwed it to the hardboard panel and even managed to find some paint in the shed that’s almost the same unpleasant colour as the interior.
Hi all, I am selling my small sized disklok. Perfect for any t5,6 or 6.1. It's a few years old and has seen some use but works perfectly fine with 2 keys included. £50 ono. Can collect derby or Nottingham area.
Disklok personally.
Nothing against pedal locks but they're not effective until after a potential thief has already broken into your van whereas the Disklok is visible, so would potentially deter the thief before they damage the locks/doors.
The "small" Disklok fits the T6 steering wheel.
I'm not surprised. The Disklok can be put on and locked without a key. I use mine across a number of cars, and have several times come close to locking it on a car with the key hundreds of miles away.

@Sasquatch, it's great to have your professional insight on the use of a Disklok. When you say no vehicle successfully stolen with one, are you referring specifically to the diamond version or just to the Dislock in general?
I have a non-diamond version as my "visible deterrent", but I have...
You'll need a small Disklok for a Transporter. Also, between the seats works well if you have 2x captains seats, but probably won't fit there if you have a double passenger seat.

...which is a pittance compared to the price of your van.
I have a DSG version of the ATE and I have a Disklok steering wheel lock. The Disklok gets used every time we exit the van, but the the ATE only gets used when we leave the van home alone for an extended period of time.
The ATE is a sturdy, well-engineered bit of kit and, IMO, a thief would...
+1 for the Disklok, you’ll need the small sized one.
I would also recommend a Ghost immobiliser, doesn’t matter if they’ve got the keys, they’re not driving off in your van if you have one of these fitted.
@zippy1148, I don't know about that specific pedal lock, but you've got the right idea with your multiple-layers-of-security approach. To @roadtripper's point re visibility, hopefully your Stoplock will provide this, though it isn't as visible as, say, a Disklok.
I use a Disklok as a visual deterrent backed up by the Ghost.
I've said it on here before, pedal locks are all well and good but they're probably not going to be visible until after the scrote has already damaged your pride and joy by breaking in. At least the Disklok should be noticed and...
Small, this is the correct size for a Transporter, well a T6 anyway, I’m sure pretty much any other model too.
been used probably three times at most. Comes in original box and with the three keys.
