    VW T28 Rear Springs Upgrade

Hi - I have recently purchased a converted T6 T28 and the rear is sagging a touch. I plan in-time to upgrade the suspension when I change wheels etc but for the short term looking at changing the rear springs only. I have taken a look at T32 springs but can’t find a solid answer as to whether...

Poor traction off-road with my camper

Its the rake angle of the van all the weight is on the rear , you need to level it up !! ideally get some proper shocks in there too to maximise grip . We all talk about camper sag affectionately as a joke , BUT these vans arent safe when the rear is 40 mm lower than the...

I think I've made a mistake with the van I'm about to buy - remap

My two-penneth FWIW. Mine is a T28 SWB 102 and I too was a little concerned about power with the conversion weight. It was sagging at the rear a little after conversion so I just swapped out the rear springs for std T32 springs (really easy job) and the stance is now perfect. Not low but didn't...

T32 springs wanted & suspension upgrade to T28

Dear T6 forum users I know there have been multiple posts about this, but most have resulted in a sale or purchase. I have a 2017 t28 fully converted camper and with the introduction of a dog and a baby and all the paraphernalia the rear is sagging more than I would like and has affected ride...

CRS question - quiet and comfortable

All I changed were the shock absorbers so in my mind that doesn’t warrant an insurance change. Sure, they work better than OE shocks but ride height is the same as I kept the OE springs and they are designed to a standard. Our T28 weighs 2.26t with a full tank of fuel and me in he drivers seat...

Suspension sagging at the rear. What can I do?

I know I know this subject has been done to death, I have a 2016 T28 PV and my arse is sagging a bit and soon to be sagging alot due to installation of security boxes weighing 106kg combined that`s before I fill them. So as these are a permanent fixture I think I need to change the rear...

Upgraded ARB and rear suspension- Cost benefit

Hi I’ve got a T28 (Jobl full conversion) and want a tow bar fitted. I also am looking to upgrade to H and R ARB’s to stop the wallow ( my husband takes the p*** when I let him drive which is not often!). I will be mounting E bikes on the tow bar and keen to avoid the rear end sag. Like a lot...

Where Have You Been In Your Van Today?

Went to see @CRS Performance and got the back of my van lifted, yey. Steve installed T32 springs (replaced factory fitted T28 springs). Much better now, no rear end sag.

    VW T28 Rear Springs Upgrade

I’ll add a third yes to this, they’ll fit no problem and will most likely solve the sagging rear and problem.

    VW T28 Rear Springs Upgrade

Yes. The vw dealer done that mod on my T5.1 FOC when i had a new rear 4M diff fitted. My T28 was sagging at rear due to weight. T32 rear springs sorted it.

Upgraded ARB and rear suspension- Cost benefit

A quick and easy fix for the rear sag is a set of T 32 springs . negligible cost ( Free here ) . we can adjust the height with spring distance spacers to get the camper sitting perfect . A H&R upgrade ARB kit is approx £450.00 nowadays but i wouldnt recommend that route...

    VW T28 Rear Springs Upgrade

I strongly suspect I will be in need of some T32 rear springs for my T28 soon.... I have an exploria bed with caravelle fitting bottom structure and will be fitting a heavy sliding tray system next week. Coupled with all my loose camping gear and a planned kitchen pod, I anticipate some sag. If...

Sportline standard suspension? Any good for my saggy camper?

So a friend is giving me his standard sportline, 30mm lower suspension. Reason being I have a t6 was102bhp bog standard t28, now it’s fully campered the weight at the back sits the ear a little lower than the front, it’s actually around 3-4cm lower so as I’m getting the shockers from him which...

    H & R lowering springs

Ok this has been done to death in the past i am, sure and this is quite a controversial topic because the H&R springs are all rated for TUV purposes and the weights of the van. I ll try to explain this better because we dont recognise TUV standards in UK ( I wish we did as it would...
