Got an inverter, never use it. Had 2 awnings, gave up on them , PITA imho. Now have an awning rail sun canopy. Have a Porta Potti 365, never been used in 7 years of ownership. We consider ourselves “heavy duty” campers, spending around 100nights/year in the van, winter & summer. Just my 2 penneth.

I’m hopefully collecting my all seasons van next week. Finish on them seems really good from what I’ve seen.

I can confirm that on my camper king Le Mans conversion the bottom light flashes red when the battery is low (or faulty) as mine is.

I had the same last year... A 12v power USB thing broke in the 12v cigarette lighter socket and blew the fuse, and after much research, searching, asking Denby (those who fitted out the camper and didn't bother getting back to me... again, so no worries I'll sort your problems myself... again)...

Are you looking to get a van from them or just the pop top? (Assuming they do partial upgrades) Austops are relatively cheap pop tops but mine is good, not fancy but does what it says on the tin. Maybe look at them if you are looking for a roof only as they specialise in roofs only

Agree with your views stayed away for two nights and it has been very cosy

Mine's being done right now, at Camper King, Banbury, as that is just down the road for me. 50k miles, 66 plate(my bad...), full kit including waterpump, all stretch bolts, auxiliary and tensioner. £540 the lot. The last 2 years it has been pretty much unused. 1800 miles between MOTs!

My friend purchased a camper king about 3 years ago brand new and has had a lot of trouble he tells me, doesn’t speak highly of them at all.

Mine Vw came with a a storage cover for the Jack, tow hook and wrench , which fits altogether and stows in the rear on a threaded stud … see my photos .. took this many as a reminder to myself on how it all goes back as it’s a bit of a head scratcher !!

...in a few though. What I liked was there was no hard sell or pushiness and we were allowed to sit in and look at as many as we wanted. There must be about 20 vans on site for purchase, most of which are “Camper King” conversions, which seem to be of decent enough quality and come with a warranty.
