Good to have you here @eyejay , hope all goes well with the purchase! Don't forget, let's have some pictures when you can, we are all partial to a picture!
Hi Guys, I've managed to blow the fuse on my lower dash 12v socket. I don't appear to have the blue 15a fuse in the lower dash fuse box as illustrated in @Loz excellent diagram. Please see a photo of the fuses that I do have. Does anyone have an idea which one it might be, or is it likely to be...

Bought a 67 plate T6 about a year ago. Camper conversion. Only noticed the other day that all the paperwork (V5C, insurance) says it’s a T28 when the badge says T30 on the back. The badge doesn’t look like it’s been altered in any way or replaced. So I wonder what gives. Is this a van that has...
STUNNING HIGH SPEC VW T6.1 CAMPER SWB DSG IN RAVENNA BLUE

21 reg with only 8,517 miles and 2 years VW ‘All in’ plan for warranty, service, MOT and roadside

VW T6.1 is the last pure VW transporter! No longer available...
At the other end of the scale I have this option, a much newer and lower mile van - but it's a T28, 101ps rather than the T32 150ps above. I had a 101ps fully converted T28 for the summer and although it was obviously slower, it didn't struggle at all, and I'm not going to we walloping a camper...
Hi, we’re selling up!
We brought the van brand new from VW in 2022 as panel van and had VW make it what we needed before we sent it off and had it converted to a day van at Jacks Shack in Loughborough.
Due to growing kids and growing weekend commitments we’re just not getting the use out of it...
Looking at buying my first T6 soon
Not owned a vw camper for 35 years
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
i know i want a DSG gearbox in 150bhp
But does it matter if its a T28,T30 or T32
Would you go SWB or LWB
Things you have to look out for
Cheers

Hi
The conversion company put these tyres on: 255/45ZR18 103W ultra arz4 for my T28 6.1 transporter but I can’t see whether these are the best for grip. We have moments where grip on steep roads in the Lake District have skidded (possibly not helped by the fact it is an automatic), and we are...
All of the above from @CJW and @Bigsidavies plus if you are thinking of a camper conversion in the future then a T28 will probably will not be suitable due to the weight of everything you install.
Air con is a must!
Camperking Le Mans SWB 4 berth (6 seats) air con, heater, tail lift boot
5,000 miles
We have owned this vehicle since new post-conversion in July 2020, purchased from Factory Campers, it's the 2.0 102PS and hasn't been chipped or modded, same for the suspension, original vehicle setup
-...
High to low the current trim levels are Startline, Highline, Sportline. Recommend you get either a Startline with the addition of the Business Pack (which gives Air Con) or a Highline (which comes with lots of useful extras).
T28, T30, T32 relates to a van's Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), with a...
We are selling our 2018 Highline Transporter Camper Van.
This is in perfect condition as we have always done all the cooking etc in our awnings/ outside, as we never wanted to ruin anything in the van!
This isn’t a van that’s been brought to covert and sell on using cheap items. No expense has...
T6.1 full camper conversion (T28) lowered iirc 35mm approx on 235/65/17 Falken AT3WA no issues so far with no rubbing . Not the best image but you get the idea….
NEWBIE HERE... Can I upgrade my rear springs on my T6 T28 panel van (65 plate), bearing in mind that I've just fitted a towbar, and I will be adding furniture soon into the rear (as part of its conversion into a campervan). Just 2 adults and the dog will travel in it, but I suspect the van will...
I have to agree - low mileage, DSG and Highline spec is a must as a base.
And I would have to bow to others about the weight but it makes sense a T30 is probably the lowest I would go when thinking about all the furniture, stuff, people and suitcases in a campervan.
So none of them
Just want to throw my few cents in here. I'm on SoLow Low so down 105mm and love the ride quality and how it looks. I too have a T28, albeit a T5.1. Mine too is a fully loaded camper but I found the rear Solow springs a little too soft and didn't like having to have the adjusters at full height...
