Are people using the wildpeak AT3WA?
I’ve been trying to buy the AT3W , but can’t find a supplier, only the AT3WA
Also the newer AT4W isn’t available yet it seems, I’m looking for the Wildpeaks that will perform the best in winter time, I don’t want to buy a set dedicated winter tyres
After 235...
Hi after a bit of info going to change from 20s to 17 steels was going for 235/65/17 rubber on standard height suspension on a T32 van will i need spacers or not lots off info already about but conflicting

...could go without this problem.
So from what you're saying if your speedo is showing 70, you are infact doing 73?
Also he interested to hear about this bracket mod as I am looking to switch to a 235/65/17 Falken AT setup, having a 4motion ideally want the spare to be the same size or within mm's
...have the same error at all speeds. The extra distance travelled will increase as a percentage so the speedo error will change too.
That's unusual. I've read a lot of these 235/65/17 threads and the only time that I recall the speed being more than 1 mph out (at high speeds) was on a 16" chassis.
Standard size on my T32 were 16in (smaller brakes) but now running 17" Navis MAC ATs on Michelin CC SUV that are also 235/65/17 have worked great for the last 18 months. Van is lowered on ST-X coilovers as low as they can go without rubbing or interference.
I assume you have measured? My LWb shuttle with roof prep, OEM suspension and Falken Wildpeaks 235/65/17 sits at 1.94 (fully loaded and I mean FULLY loaded).
Most of our 235 tyres are fitted to aftermarket rims. The factory davenport wheel is 7" wide, so technically a 235 is slightly too wide, but will work fine with no problem. A 225/65/17 will work perfectly on the factory wheels.
255/45/18 is almost identical to standard overall diameter (standard being 215/60/17)
255/55/18 takes it to almost identical diameter to my 235/65/17 Falkens...makes your speedo under read slightly...70 is actually 72 ish
Can't comment on the width of yours, but would have thought it'd be fine...
I'm glad I'm not the only one thats done this...... the last 2 weeks spent researching on and off..... decided on Falken Wildpeaks 235/65/17 on a new set of 17x8 rims with an ET35.
Very nearly went for a set of 245/65/17 but on std T32 suspension its seems there is a very small possibility of...
Really want to fit 235/65/17 (probably Michelin Crossclimates)but it’s a bit of a jump from current 215/60/17
They do look great in photos and fill the arch but what effect on economy and driveabilty?
I’ve got 6.1 SWB 204 DSG
Any help much appreciated
My speedo underreads compared to the GPS since moving to 235/65/17 Falkens however I never used it anyway as I have a dash mounted sat nav that I use for the GPS speed everywhere I drive and converts to kmh so thats nice and handy when in Europe and all that.
Hi all, I currently have Claytons with hankook 205/65s on my t32 T6. These are approaching the end of their life.
On my other cars I've recently been fitting cross climate 2s and generally been very happy.
I the T6 I'm primarily concerned with noise and comfort but obviously want a decent...
Don’t know what these wheels are but I think they’re much improved with the satin black rather than the original silver. 30mm spacers all round!
STD suspension and 235/65/17
