All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

I've recently switched to the Wildpeak AT3 235/65/17 from Goodyear Efficient Grip 225/55/17. I would say that any increase in noise was somewhere between negligible and none existent. I didn't notice any change at all.

@racerke600 I run 235/65/17 on Fuel Zephyr wheels which are 8.5J ET. 34 for reference. I have no rubbing at 70mm and I'm sure many others have this combination without issue. They do look nice

    Falken Wildpeak on 17 or 18" ?

You can get a 235/65/17 in the cradle and up albeit I do use a trolley jack that I keep in the van all the time and I did have to lower the tyre pressure a bit however I also keep a small Milwaukee tyre inflator. That looks like a good upgrade though.

    What colour wheel? Team Black

...only come in a 17" (as far as I know) so the ride benefits from generally higher volume tyres. I've had them with 225/55/17 and currently 235/65/17 tyres. While neither were harsh, obviously the 65 profiles offer more comfort. They do have an annoying flaw in that water collects inside the...

With std steel 17" wheels and big bouncy tyres, is it safe to go 15 front and 20 rear with spacers and is there a certain make that are the go to/best/recommended? I am thinking 225 or 235/65 17's Falken Wild thing's or Yokohama GEOLANDAR A/T G015

Anyone running Fuel Zephyrs on b14s?

...at 70mm which is where I had them set on installation. However, the wheel arch measurement of 360mm suggests that they are a touch lower... The Fuel Zephyrs are currently shod in 235/65/17 Falken Wildpeak tyres. Previously I ran Solows at max height (~100mm) with 225/55/17 Goodyear...

    Oversize tyres worry

Hi all been reading through the various posts regarding tyre size and im looking at the falcon wildpeak at trails my gut says goes go with standard 235/55/17 to play it safe or go with the 65 profile but my concern is fuel economy/performance and long-term drive train damage to the dsg with the...

t32 hard suspension - pot hole avoidance

@Alexander4699 235-55-17 have and overall diameter of 690.3mm, compared to 225-65-17 with and overall diameter of 724.3mm. You are quite right in saying there is a 34mm difference. However, the overall vehicle height will be raised by the radius difference which is 17mm. That's the difference...

Is the T32 a boneshaker even when well loaded?

...ours is a heavy 4M campervan, so left the original factory springs in place, drives completely different,no bone, teeth rattling and goes nice round the bends, very stable, one of the best improvements, oh and he also added a cheeky little 25mm lift with spacers. Tyres are 235/65/17 at 48psi
