I had the same dilemma, went with 235/65/17 on my T32, lowered by 45mm. It fills the gap well, no rubbing and could poss go a bit lower.

Iv got 235 65 17 GG AT3 and I’m reading 3 mph under on the dash at 70mph. Also have 25mm lift spacers,fitted by CRS, with Koni adaptive shocks, and kept the original T32 springs, drives lovely.

Just put tomahawk kato on our t6.1 velle exec with wildpeak 235/65/17. Clearance for door card is literally mm but they fit no problem

235/65's should be completely fine, I think they're fine even down to 40/50mm lowered. You've got the same wheels as me, 17" Cascavel so presumably 235/55 tyres, with 235/65 tyres you'll gain about 20-25mm ride height, but you're already lower by 20mm (probably more) than a std van which is...

Correct not lowered, wheels are Tomahawk Kato 17" satin grey which is a close match for the van and tyres are Yokohama Geolandar A/T 235/65/17. Had 20"s on before but did really like the look or ride much. They have started gritting the roads up here already as you can see! So not much chance...
