Looks like a nice setup. So what I would do.. would be to add in a Abelmail AMT12-2. I've got one on both vans now and it works perfectly..... (I've also got the 230ah lithium, and 50A DC-DC etc etc on both vans.) I've also added in the Abelmail Bluetooth adapter to twerk the AMT settings...

I'd agree with the comments so far. With charge rate I'd keep the Orion XS around 30A for general use, it's kinder on the battery, charger and keeps the heat down. You can always bump it up to the full 50A for a the week or two you're off grid and really drawing on the battery. With the...

Lead acid batteries are optimised for broadly two uses; either for providing very high current for a brief period (starter) or low current for a long period of time (leisure). Any battery isn't like a fuel tank, you can never fill a battery back up to where it was as it's a chemical reaction...
