Evening bud, I run amaroks and 255/60 will fit in the arch but will rub and even worse cause damage to the bodywork when on lock and suspension compressed. Biggest you can run without issues are 235/60

Lots of people seem concerned that the 60 profiles could rub in the inner arch? I presume you have had no such issues with 235/60/18’s? mine is lowered just 30mm. A T32 (Sportline)

I'm not....235/55 on the white van and 235/60 on the grey van. Both well over rated for load on a T32.

I've got 225/65/17 on 8" rims, and whist totally within guidelines; the tyres do look a bit thin IMO.

Plenty of people have 245s with no problem and many will tell you that’s the biggest you can go without rubbing or lifting.

I couldn't run that size, I get slight rubbing on 235/50R18.

I went from 215/60/17 to 235/55/18. This added 20mm to the rolling diameter, i.e. 10mm increase in height. This with the extra width feels nice. They are less harsh on rough roads. OEM Amarok tyres were too large for my taste.

If you want to run 18" wheels the GG AT3 235/55/18 will be a great choice IMO. I have pretty much the same vehicle as you and have just put some Pirelli Scorpion AT+ 225/65/17 on, and I'm really happy with them. You can go for 235/65/17 which may look a bit better, but I didn't want to...
