So I have an exRAC van and it's missing the left hand centre vent as they must have had some tablet or something there, does any know of a decent priced replacement or have one for sale. I found some on eBay but they were over £100!
A set from a T32 sold here before - that’ll help give you a steer in the right direction

For under 20k you may get a ex fleet panel van with high milage, or possibly an ex AA or RAC van.
Tailgate are more sought after for camper conversions and may attract a higher price.
There are loads of older T5 and T5.1s on Facebook semi to full conversation.
But if you want a T6 then you...
It was failing to charge the battery properly when driving - weirdly it worked fine when idling! Van is exRAC so no doubt it's had a harder life than usual. Luckily the replacement was covered under my RAC warranty.
I got a highline with less miles, higher spec in general for less than the local dealer wanted for the ex-RAC van. These vans have been worked hard, are also T32 which means changing suspension etc. So it's not worth bothering with them IMHO unless the price is right.
Appreciate the comments as regards to price it’s hard to gauge when I look for comparisons you can barely buy an exRAC/AA with high miles for the same money I’m asking.
I’ve recently sold my other T6 ok it was 2017 euro6 just shy of 90,000 same interior layout but no leds or twin slider but...
Euge, I have the same questions, I have just bought a exRAC T6, I have removed the shelving and am most of the way through removing the RAC wiring, I have searched high and low for the module that links to the tow bar without success (as yet). I also wan to swap out the double passengers seat...
I was lucky bud. Had nightmare mechanical issues with my exrac t6. Fuel can pump within 7 months-no filings so injectors were okay but just out of warranty, then alternator within 9 months. Touch wood, now sounding sweet. Just finishing off electrics and sourcing a bed….. been an expensive...
Hi
Bought a T6 2017 exRAC transporter. Took me over the christmas period just to remove the additional wiring to get it back to standard before over the next 4 months to convert it. The 2nd battery has been disconnected, turn around and Red wires have been taped up and earth wire has been...

When I drove it home and the light was off, the start stop works fine. Then when the warning light pops up, it says Error Start Stop on the dash.
I can’t see any history of the battery being replaced, have a full history of the vehicle as is an exRAC so must be original.
Going through the same with our new 2018 ex-RAC T6 as we speak, have you had any more thoughts on your next steps with electrics and swivel seat?
I’m also thinking of getting a swivel seat, but maintaining current battery position under passenger seat if possible.
Will be doing some research...
ExRAC 2016 T6 150 A/C Startline

I would change wheels, lower suspension, rad front end, windows. I am not keen on pop up tent..yet! More of a dubbed look. Maybe keep it orange but different shade..maybe. please give thoughts on price? Its for sale at local garage.
Hi all, new here after picking up my LWB 2018 T32 ex-RAC orange machine this week!
Had loads of tips so far from browsing the forum so thank you all.
Looking for advice as I want to retrofit front parking sensors and a reversing camera, and will also be wanting to update the head unit to...
Hello! We've just joined the forum - we picked up an exRAC T6 a couple of weeks ago. The forum has been really useful already. We've been getting our heads around things and after removing the racking, floor, jack mount, stuck on stripes etc. and a good clean, have now started with ripping out...
I have a exrac van which has the factory fitted leisure battery. It’s an agm battery which was identical to the starter battery until I replaced it with a bigger one as it was failing to start intermittently. Obviously the old starter battery didn’t have enough power to start the van but would...
