Nice, very nice. The gap looks so much less. Can I ask out of curiosity how come you went 55 and not 60? I only bought my van last week and that’s what was on it, I agree they look tiny hence why I’m desperate to get bigger tyres. What brand would you recommend

    Amarok 18” 7.5J Steelie - Tyre Sizes

I've got 17" with 235/60/17 tyres; I've also got a set of 18" Amarok's in the shed and may run them later this year with 235/55/18 All-Seasons

    DCC (Dynamic Chassis Control) Retrofit

The Exec's already come 20mm lower than other T6's. imo if you want to reduce the wheel arch gap consider a slightly larger tyre 235/55/18; 235/60/17. The DCC on an Exec is a lovely set up, which I would be very mind full of changing. just my thoughts

    Best 18" tyres???

Hi there. it will be an everyday van getting me to and from work mainly. Not really much load in the back either. I live and drive around country roads quite a lot and in winter some of them are quite difficult to tackle unless winter tyres are fitted. Not heard of any of those tyres above...

    All-Season Tyre recommendations

For me its Nokian Weatherproof SUV or Michelin Agilis Climate Cross. You need to check out tyre sizes and load ratings. My preferred size is 235/55/18, and at present this rules the Michelins out. If 17" was still my bag may well be 235/60/17...

    Amarok 18” 7.5J Steelie - Tyre Sizes

I will keep my eyes open for s set with the correct size wheels on it like I say go to 235. I still have a few months life on my tyres so will see what happens. Do you have a pic with your van on the Amaroks

Danny why did you not go with 235/60/18 as doesn’t appear to be much more Speedo error than the 55s?

    Totally Setulla All Season Tyres.

Thanks for the reply and looks an amazing tyre. Unfortunately I'm running 215/60/17's at the mo and just need the two. But defo worth considering. Thank you again.

I've got a 20mm drop with 25mm spacers all round with 235/60/17's (same radius as 235/55/18's), all seems to work well on mine, never rubbed yet. But I think I'll go the 18" route, because well...., they just look better:thumbsup::thumbsup: imo.

    Devonport tyre pressure?

Thanks, I will be running mostly empty and usually <200kg load. (I will be going 235 next time - but that won't be for a while). The tyres currently feel like they have as much 'give' as if they were filled with concrete!!...

    Amarok 18” 7.5J Steelie - Tyre Sizes

They will fit but they wont work... They will go on the studs but apart from the obvious rubbing on lock, when the suspension is compressed and especially when compressed and on lock, you will damage components within the arch. The maximum you can use without any compromise using an 18 is...

    Devonport tyre pressure?

This is a huge down side of running narrower tyres.; and why people often comment on much better the ride characteristics are when they swop from 215/60/17 to 235/55/17 or better still 235/60/17. And also thats why VW fit their premium T6's with 235/55/17 as standard or 255/45/18's as options...

    Tyre Loading - 109 rating

There is a 235/60/17 Mich Agilis CC available; slightly larger tyre, but for a much better fit in the wheel arches. The only down side is the load capacity is very high, so it may be a tad hard riding; but they may not matter. We've got these tyres on 2 of our vans, and they are superb. In terms...

    All-Season Tyre recommendations

Absolutely zero issues, our speedo still reads fractional above actual speed, so again no issues. If you are very sensitive you will just a feel a slight alteration in gearing, but after a few drives it is forgotten I've got a set of VW Amarok wheels 18" in the shed, so when its time for me to...
