Sold How much is this steering wheel worth ?

I bought a plastic flat-bottomed Passat MFSW from eBay for £60 (the one with white LEDs). Condition was good. No airbag. I then sold my original T6 leather MFSW for £145. Condition was good, a little shiny. Again, no airbag. I think £50 is fair for the wheel alone, whilst the airbag would...

    Caravelle ceiling mounting points

I have one in the Volvo and they're a godsend when you need to carry loads so got one for the Caravelle too. Here's mine in situ in the front mounts: And the rear mounts: I'd hoped that we could leave it in place at the rear as a luggage guard but it's under too much tension for comfort...

Airbag wiring loom issue - too many earths

T6 doesnt and never has come with a flat bottom wheel so the wheel has clearly come from a different model (most likely a golf) and if the buttons came with it then they are not compatible with a T6

Big Hole To Fill With Love Vol 2 .. pic heavy

...T6.1 Highline 150bhp 6 speed and obviously feels well quicker and more refined than the previous one. Loving all the improvements like flat bottom leather wheel, nice dash, parking sensors front and rear etc etc and the colour was top of my list. Decided to go for a pop top on this one as...

Lithium LifePo4 12v Batteries - Time For An Upgrade?

The black cable is acting as a selector switch so you need to connect it to something permanently live. So that's not the service/leisure battery as that may go very flat, you need to find a source from the van side. If you are taking the feed to the terminal marker "input alternator" directly...

    curved gloss rear badge?

in the end I warmed the badge with a DIY paint stripper style heat gun, put a micro fibre cloth on it then 3 cases of beer to weigh it flat, it’s kind of worked but taken on some kind of micro fibre cloth print to the gloss VW, if any one else is planning on a DIY fix try DXX’s water bath method...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Hi, yes the board is ply. I've had the bottom of the board carpeted to match the van but left the top face plain. I ran the fibres on the top face of the ply and run them to the back of the van to one point in the middle where the controller and power hooks on to the strands. I glued each fibre...

    What Have You Bought Today?

This is my thought process for some things, other things I sell straight away - like if I was converting my Kombi into a camper I would sell the Kombi seats, brackets and belts etc. Claytons will be going in the shed when I get my new wheels. Not sure anyone would want the standard T30...
