Any issues raising the floor that amount? eg with side step, or rear threshold?
Looks like 34mm raise from top of van floor ribs?
(9mm insul + 18mm ply/xps + 5mm ply + 2mm altro ?)
And how did you support the narrow slither of floor inbetween the left hand reimo rail and the side step?
I'm...
I spoke to him on Facebook........his pictures show 2 different type of bracket yet he told me he only makes one which seemed confusing.
His also raise the seat by 40mm but you don't have to grind the tabs off the bottom of the seat rail, you do still have to trim the rail down to swivel the...
This button set up works on my 2015 T6 trendline. But, as you say there are sets around that come from the polo that light up white and they won’t work with a T6 (I had a set of them first off) and sold them on before finally finding the ones that light up red. As you say there’s usually a...
Thank you so much for your help! I have seen a thread where you explained it and were taling about pin 9, 10 and 11? Do i also need to wire pin 11 as i don't have CCS on my steering wheel? The wires you are talking about.. I believe are the repair wires? I have bought a set of wires as pictured...
This week I've bought 2 front tyres and today booked a week away on a cruise ship in September apparently that's more important than a flatbottom steering wheel says SWMBO
I've bought a flatbottom steering wheel from @SSCUSTOMWORKS yesterday and it arrived today well packaged and looks great I'm very happy with it,I'm just not looking forward to fitting it I'm uncomfortable with airbags, luckily mines not an mfsw
Hi all
New to the forum and would appreciate any advice please.
Bought a 2019 swb T6 2.0 diesel recently and to cut a longer story short developed a problem whereas my wife was driving it and just cut out and wouldn't start
Called out AA and was diagnosed as what aa guy thinks is timing belt...
Think you may be right @Widdzuk seems a funny setup if mechanical key won't open to let you access to pop bonnet etc. Other forums suggesting vw assist and connecting supply to starter motor or alternator?! May be worth a call. There was also someone suggesting back feeding via tow bar...
...wheel. I’m very new to the T6 world, so any step by step guides (including coding) would be gratefully appreciated.
I’ve upgraded to a flatbottom steering wheel and requested T6 CNL buttons - 7E0959442 from the seller.
I’ve received the wheel and the buttons are different, I think I’ve...
Hi all
I'm wondering if a golf mk5 gt flatbottom steering wheel would fit on the t6,a mate of mine is changing his to a quick release wheel as he's doing a track car,the wheel has airbag but no multi function and as mine has no multi function either is it possible or would the airbag cause us...
...wheels. He’s on fb.
Ones with the big shaped hand grips, carbon, matching leather and stitching etc.
I went for a relatively plain flatbottomed one with matching stitching and centre marker.
The base wheel without the airbag controls or surround was £280.
You pay £100 refundable deposit...
Mine was noticeably off centre when I had a flatbottomed MFSW fitted.
I used this method and then had 4 wheel alignment done after. It’s worked a treat and it’s literally a 5 minute fix (as long as you can release the locking nuts). Simply adjust your tie-rod ends.

The office for Product Safety & Standards has just issued a safety recall on these . Risk of fire
Yeah, not cheap. I think much of the cost is in the replacement step with the bottom rail built in. The ones for flat sided vans (not curved like a Transporter) are much cheaper.
We’ve ummed & ahhd for a couple of years about buying one. Every time we’re sat on a site battling mozzies & flys, we...
Hello Dav-Tec,
I am looking for a flat-bottomed MFSW for a T6 (Startline) 2019 (Euro 6).
Basically I want to have cruise control activated and controllable from the MFSW.
And also, I am planning to upgrade the media unit at a later date.
Can you give me a price for supply and fit...
Is this link for a flatbottom steering wheel cover? I've got the exact same wheel as yours @Workper and so far i've ordered 3 of these things from different sellers and the are all suited to a flatbottomed wheel rather than a full round one - there's not enough leather to tuck in at the front...
