If the MFSW has just been fitted it must be coded in.
The ‘with MFSW’ needs to be added, i cannot recall which bit and byte but it will be in the retrofit cruise control thread.
You’ll need someone with VCDS or OBDeleven.
...T6 Forum people
Please would you throw your ten penneth in to this decision please?
I have a EUR5 Startline T6 without cruise control or MFSW and the MFD has the trip feature. I’ve always planned on doing the retrofit. I’ve read the hundreds of pages on all threads and understand the...
I got a question, i wanted to fit a golf gti steering wheel for example, i found the matching buttons. but they dont seem to work when i connect them. I have a t6 with acc, so thats makes it a little different. is there a way to make this work? or do i need to stick with the OG wheel because of...
I just went back to read the MFSW Upgrade thread and I saw that nemesis also activated KLR in the A5 Driver Assistance control module, but our van does not have that module, which isn't very surprising since we didn't order Travel Assist...
Check out the wire mod I did to get the horn working, details are in this thread

I got the big digital speedo on my startline. But got it done the same time as I got my MFSW ccs and both headlight beams coded in.
It wasn’t Carista that was used.
It was @Dundee_Kev on here who kindly did the coding. Maybe pm Kevin to ask him.
As mentioned you need to change to Australia...
...promptly.
It looks very nice and all the the buttons work including DSG paddles, but it would have been much easier to get a compatible MFSW with CCS.
For anyone attempting these, few pitfalls to note:
- The MFSW i purchased has a 6 way connector for the airbag loom, my original MFSW loom...
For Sale.
Genuine T6 Leather MFSW.
Taken off my T6 Highline when it was on about 20K miles when I bought a flappy paddle wheel. The plastic bits are shiny as I have the Comfort Dash, not sure if others are the same.
Absolutely prefect condition

...won't work. Seat Leon's electronics are based on MQB architecture. T6 is using older PQ25 electronics. The components are not interchangeable.

You can activate ccs on a startline with no stalks or MFSW.
You will need to swap out the buttons for ones from a T6 and buy the correct airbag loom.
Then install a few wires from the plug behind the wheel.
One goes to the light switch for power. One goes to BCM in dash up behind pedals and...
Hi,
I am looking at replacing my standard Trendline steering wheel 2017 T6 (66 reg) which has no multifunction buttons to a flat bottom wheel taken from a Seat Leon 2017, from what I’ve read the original airbag will fit ok, and the cruise is on a stick that’s why I’m looking at this type of...
I've not used that tool. But I would imagine it shows the whole existing value, then change the last value to 40 as you say. But write down what it was before. 40 is what mine is set to and I have a MFSW.
Hello mate. I have a manual so I’m unsure, but am fairly certain I’ve read a post from @Tourershine where he swapped his MFSW with his mum’s Golf MFSW+Paddles and it worked.
I see you’ve posted on the Guide thread - someone with more knowledge will advise, I’m sure.
Good luck!
