If the MFSW has just been fitted it must be coded in. The ‘with MFSW’ needs to be added, i cannot recall which bit and byte but it will be in the retrofit cruise control thread. You’ll need someone with VCDS or OBDeleven.

You should be able to use the buttons on the wiper switch. They do the same as a mfsw

I've not used that tool. But I would imagine it shows the whole existing value, then change the last value to 40 as you say. But write down what it was before. 40 is what mine is set to and I have a MFSW.

Yes A5 is installed in the T6.1

Are you activating cruise control? I did when I retro fitted my MFSW and it’s one of the best mods I’ve done to the van.

Hello mate. I have a manual so I’m unsure, but am fairly certain I’ve read a post from @Tourershine where he swapped his MFSW with his mum’s Golf MFSW+Paddles and it worked. I see you’ve posted on the Guide thread - someone with more knowledge will advise, I’m sure. Good luck!
