    T6.1 Centre Bore protrusion?

Hi all. Does anyone happen to know what the Centre bore protrusion / depth is on a T6,1 4Mo? I know the bore is 65,1 but don’t know how much it sticks out. Looking at wheel spacers. H&R hub centric only come in 3mm,5mm shims then 15mm & thicker. Doing the maths i am probably only going to...

    T6.1 Centre Bore protrusion?

...can’t remember exact measurements, but it’s somewhere around the 12mm mark. They can vary slightly, so it’s always worth measuring to be sure when the man flu wears off. You can’t fit a 10mm hub centric spacer for 65.1mm centre bore wheels, but you can if the wheels are 72.5 or 72.6mm centre...

For Sale H&R Black Line Trak+ 15mm Wheel Spacers Hubcentric & Black Longer Bolts w/locking £200

Also just occurred to me; @Fozzer hasn’t included the hub mounting centre bore diameter of the Calibres. VW Transporter OEM is 65mm, as per the spacers above. If the Calibre wheels have a bigger bore then there should be spigot ring adapters to take up the ‘slack’ and ensure correct...

    Wheels size

The BMW wheels will have a centre bore of 74.1mm - the T6 has 65.1mm. Spigot rings stop/reduce vibrations and a few other issues - don't drive without them. Yes, you'll find different opinions online but for £10 just don't risk anything. In theory the wheels hold onto the hub with the axial...

Help with getting new wheels to fit t6.1

Sorry I also forgot to mention that I already have used spigots whilst trying. The one with the picture showing the misalignment has a spigot 72.6mm to 65.1mm the back but on the other picture it is removed. It still doesn’t seem to line up with the correct spigot which is why I asked if spacers...

    Experiences in Corrosion Prevention

Anyone had experience with the centre bore rust and removal + protection? I've got a t6.1, not even 2 years old yet and the centre cap from the non-vw wheels fell off and i noticed the amount of rust on the centre bore! If it hadn't fallen off i wouldnt have seen it. Did a search and couldnt'...

Sold Momo Revenge 18” and Toyo Proxes 101 rated

Hi, no I still have them but with different tyres on. Yes they are lovely wheels. Load rated for upto T32, and 65.1mm centre bore so no need for spigot rings. As with any multispoke design they are a bitch to clean though

Help with getting new wheels to fit t6.1

It’s possible that the wheel centre bore is larger than the hub flange. If that’s the case you need spigot rings to take up the gap. It looks as though the wheels are dropping slightly too low because of the loose centre bore fit. All the holes are misaligned in the same direction so that would...

    T6.1 Multivan Wheels

According to various wheel suppliers, they are 5 x 120, so the bolt patterns are the same. Whether they will bolt straight on will depend on the centre bore, offset and brake caliper clearance. @BognorMotors will know the original wheel specs, so you can do your calcs once you know those.

    Wheels size

I did some research and read that even if I use a spigot rings, vibration may occur at high speeds. I'm thinking of not installing this rim, I will consider the original 18'' rims. Thank you for your suggestions.

    10mm Spacers?

I’ve used 15mm on the twin 5 successfully. A 10mm spacer with the twin 5 might be tricky, unless you go for a plain spacer and don’t worry about the central spigot. If you want hub centric spacers, 15mm is the thinnest you can go with the 65.1mm centre bore of the twin 5.

    Wheel centre-bore

I have just picked up my new van and fitted my new set of wheels. I noticed that the centre of the wheel is bigger than the spigot on the hub. Would this be a problem?
