That’s what I was hoping for, just a leaking hose. Had a smoke test done and found no leaks. Think I have left it far too long and Turbo is just giving up. Hello all. Newish to the forum and new to T6 ownership. I’m having fun so far however my van has a strange whining noise when the revs are increased (it’s not from the passenger seat!). Having looked at other threads I assume it is the aux belt or cam belt tensioner failing, but am not 100% sure...

I do notice an occasional whine from the AC especially at idle or when the revs drop between gears. I am able to stop the noise if I turn the AC off which is weird considering how it works.

Also worth listening out for whining from the engine that changes pitch with revs as a failing auxiliary belt tensioner is reasonably common (my 150bhp had it at around 30k miles). I find the advantage of the Caravelle is that we have the bench a long way back. Haven't upgraded the stereo yet but it's plenty loud enough when needed. Ahem.
