...attempts at a repair. also got the P204F which is relevant and 33262 which again VW don't recognise
they wont recognise the 31103 code and the P20EE is a generic capture-all SCR error. If you have erased error codes they wont be stored (I made that mistake early on) and they need the codes...
...is mechanic, did the cam belt etc on my T5.1, so I may get him to check it over before it goes back to the dealers.
The EML fault code is the P20EE and 31103, both shown through Carista. The EML came on one Sunday so called the dealers first thing on the Monday to be told that as I had...
...set however a local independent suggested they don't bother and have not had issues
Good luck with the EML ..... let me know if you have P20EE and P204F ....... see my other posts ..... even more so if they find a solution
hope this helps but dont stress too much and if you have only just...
I have the same faults and only come on after a long run. P20EE is generic and I have P204F which links with your other codes. All SCR related. Mine has been in 4 times for a fix so far without success. Going in again tomorrow and costing me £500 for them to look at it even though under warranty...
on my VCDS I used the option
IDE04732 "Check of SCR efficiency"
After the checking procedure, everything is working as it should. (light went out)
Is this option available in the Carista app?
I'm going overseas soon and I wouldn't want to take my laptop with me, only the Carista cube.
Please help
Similar to others above. I had egr mapped and blanked to prevent destruction of my 204 biturbo engine. No probs and it’s passed it’s MOTs since.
I’m intending to have the inlet manifold shell blasted at Darkside when I get chance. Mine has done 130k so god knows how gunked up the inlet manifold...
No, I have all the same ad blue faults as separate faults, unresolved and VW won't/can't help without paying ££££ just to investigate. The inlet manifold fault displayed on the dash as a flashing coil light and limp mode.
...point I am at right now but there must be an engineering solution and I have a lot invested in this van
did the sooted manifold generate the P20EE and P204F plus adblue faults like mine .... is that why the dealer wants to investigate this component next although i have only done 56k and no...
on top of the P20EE and P204F I also had the 650 adblue error countdown which just reset to 2500 on first run. VW Assist confirmed the 2500 was correct to the stored volume. This has happened before on two occasions and reset by itself. I was concerned my busy week was going to get shot to...
Funnily enough I noticed the P20EE code the other day just doing a routine scan. It hasn’t returned but I will change the o2 sensor. worth doing to regulate fuel supply/efficiency and maybe a potential cause
Or a very early T6 which I believe were euro5. Thought I was being clever future proofing against all major cities introducing Ulez zones and subsequent tax
...hours labour. I'll try and get a photo of the old part but my Transporter specialist says he is seeing more and more of these.
I also have the P20EE, SCR fault on long journeys.. plus filling the ad blue tank, correct procedure to reset the mileage and then after 30-40 miles the van pops up...
...soot will the warranty then argue it is exhaust related even though in the inlet manifold and decline?
so this is all about an intermittent P20EE and P204F SCR fault that only surfaces on a longer run other that that the Van runs fine.... I can't help but think they are now clutching at...
they don't like the P20EE code as too generic apparently
yes bizarrely after a 50 mile run. Tank was at 2500 range and VW Assist measured via software and it was in line volume wise.#
The Adblue was an error message not a refill message
me too, so excited when I brought it. give me my old 07...
I have a pattern - only on longer runs 50 mile plus
VW Assist suggested that is when the systems can run calibration software but who knows, dealers don't necessarily agree
I would agree, my EML has come on 3 times with the P20EE code, the first time it was flushed and a new ERG pipe fitted, the next two times ( a year between) was whilst on the continent driving in very hot weather (once with the 650 miles warning). Both times I reset it and it never came back...
Every now and again my van will show an EML light down to the P20EE code.
I'm monitoring the mileage and frequency of this but as yet there is no pattern. It is infrequent and doesn't affect the way the van performs at all.
My theory is that a sensor is recording an out of range value...
