    Which Jump Starter?

TBF I've had a gb20 and a gb40. That's why I recommend the gb70 upwards for a T6. There just isn't enough stored energy in the smaller packa to overcome a flat battery. But disconnecting the flat battery will give the smaller packs a chance of starting the engine.

    Hillside Birchover

@Chris1983 And again. It’s the same 2015 drawn diagram in my owner pack for my July 2023 Birchover. I’ve mentioned it a couple of times to the HL folks about providing an updated version but never heard anything further. When I get a dry day, I’ll test those purple wires to see if they’re...

    van Parking Lights..

Just sharing a tip, if like us you throw some of your excess baggage onto the drivers seat when camping in the van, just be mindful you don’t accidentally, unknowingly knock the stalk activating the parking lights, like we did, not sure how long they were on, definitely all night, probably a lot...

What Have You Done To Your Van Today?

Sound deadening going on this weekend with the help from my 12 yo son. Also had to charge up the battery after totally dead. Think I left the side door slightly open while waiting for the window to cure and somehow cause the battery to go flat. Anyway managed to charge it up eventually with a...

DIY kitchen suggestions Sherwood or Evo

...and they now sell the units as a package. I like the minimalistic look of them. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the DIY kits. They actually come assembled ready to scribe to the Van. Whereas Evo units are total flat pack Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated.

    What Have You Bought Today?

It fulfils the 'two uses' rule too, as you could use it to swat flies! :p

    What Have You Bought Today?

It was nice toast. You need to keep it on low heat and keep an eye on it. I also moved the slices about so the edges got toasted too. It’s just a single slice it does but packs away flat. I’ve seen others that do 3 or 4 slices at a time on a gas stove but not sure if they work as well...

Show Us Your Old Pride And Joy Cars From Yesteryears

I think this was my 4th car (and 4th mini!), a 1997 Mini Cooper Sport pack with 13" gold minilites and a proper loud exhaust. Brilliant thing. Then a number of years later, loved this thing but sold it as the fuel economy was ruinous and I could see some massive bills coming my way. Subaru...

    Hillside Birchover

Oh gosh, colour me worried by the ‘our worse’. I have solar and dc to dc into a 105ah fogstar, so hopefully the LB will be fine. And professional has just audited the wiring and stuff and reported all safe!

    Folding BBQ/Firepit

Just bought one of these after using an old round camping one that we got in the middle of Lidl years ago. https://proqsmokers.co.uk/products/proq-flatdog Build quality is incredible for the money paid for it and it folds flat (massive winner for van packing)!

    NoCo Boost GB70 Success

Great endorsement. After a week in Ireland camping and waiting at the ferry port to return our t6 failed to start. Low battery! - completely out of the blue. Got a jump to get on the boat, so will definitely be getting a GB70 for trips now. Cheers

    Run flats

We have an elderly labrador, we have wide plate side boards on our van to give him an extra step up! A trolley jack is the only thing that will go under! Even they were a pain for the guys fitting new tyres! When the old boy pops off then I can re-visit proper side bars and alternative jacks! I...
