Job done
Didn’t use the Allen key I was anticipating, too big. Funnily enough I had one of those cheap crappy Allen keys that come with flatpack furniture lying about. Went straight in, clipped in nicely, and I’ve put a blob of silicone on. Handle is tight and working like a dream. Hurrah!!
Ok but my point is unless there is a time in the day where the EFD2 is fully charged you don't need the Roamer.
In slower charging power packs then a storage battery that can charge faster off solar than the power pack and then slowly trickle charge makes sense.
However your EFD2 can happily...
i can take a look at it if you can get it to me. . .
( the normal issue I've seen with these is PPL let them go too flat, so the BMS blocks any charge - the install guide clearly states to charge them every month or so, and not to let them run flat)
another option - buy mine...
Not posting much as on holiday (and not in the Caravelle) but I did bring the NoCo Boost GB70 with me just in case.
And just managed to start this
Long story short the engineering train stopped to let the steam past and then found they had a flat battery, and thier spare was also flat...
...if you look at the tape on the box it’ll give you a clue. Or I can just tell you it’s the kitchen from Built Creations. They send it out flatpacked and cushion wrapped to prevent any damage. The courier will then come back for the crate so they can use again. I can highly recommend them if...
Yes it will run all that....
A noco jump pack is only for jump starting a flat battery.
It's the recharge you need to consider.... Recharge when driving is limited to 8A ( or 8Ah)... So how long is you drive daily?
If the drive is too short you can always take it out and recharge at home...
the Noco 1250A (GBX45) is a jump pack and to be used if the battery was flat.
Noco are one of the best jump packs.
https://no.co/gbx45
..............
but the GBX45 is concidered underpowered for a T6,
and a GB70 Upwards is recomended for the T6.
+++++++++++
as its a jump starter...
yeh,
the Bluetti AC200max i had, (now sold.) - that had twin DC MPPT inputs.
so i did have solar string and 12v dc CAR charging. . .
but it had the issues of loosing 1% soc per hour. - 24% per day. - 4x days just sitting there and it was flat.
that wasnt good.
you needed a fair amount...
If the battery has been flat for a time then it's damaged and will have limited capacity and cranking ability. If you want to use it then seriously consider a new battery as otherwise it's almost certainly going to strand you and probably beyond the help of jump packs.
I had the same happen to...
I had to search for this big time when I needed them, anyways check pic these then connect to your foot then you will need the plates to go into your Reimo track, if you got access to ss flat bar, measure and drill to suit this adaptor, with I think 6mm Allen bolts I moaned at the supplier as he...
...in the cellar, and after the delivery of a Tambourline oak veneer door I have my wardrobe built. Weeks of fiddling and scribing and all the flatpack is made and assembled. 30 minutes later it’s finally in the van.
I’ve cut up a 125mm duct which fits around the spiral, so I don’t get...
the only draw back with these portable power packs is the slow recharge rate from 12v. . .
all are limited to the 100w / 8A input limiter, as above this the 12v plug socket will melt.. . . .
in a nutshell they can take longer to charge than drain down - so net effect is they run flat over the...
What you say will work fine, your charger needs to able to cover the additional loads you will be drawing out of the battery and have some headroom to top off the battery also. You just have to be mindful of if you run your night heater for any reason with the hook up off (lets say a breaker...
a few on here have done just as you mention. . .

Any issues raising the floor that amount? eg with side step, or rear threshold?
Looks like 34mm raise from top of van floor ribs?
(9mm insul + 18mm ply/xps + 5mm ply + 2mm altro ?)
And how did you support the narrow slither of floor inbetween the left hand reimo rail and the side step?
I'm...
Well I have 50A Battery support unit for flash programming but I am afraid that will drain this battery pack extremely quick.
It depends how for the jobs are really. From 2h to 4-5h. I do not have issue to reacharge the station when I am back home as long as it will last 8h during the day.
So I said I'd add some details of our "full" pack, this is for our annual large roadtrip to Loch Tay and we travel 6 up (4 adults 2 younguns)
Hopefully this can give some inspiration for how to get a lot of stuff into a Caravelle. Coming from the massive capacity of a XC70 estate boot and a...
I've had the GB20 and GB40 in the past and sold them both on.....(my GB40 failed to start a 1.7d vaux astra in the dead of winter with a dead battery... Tried to turn over, but I think the glow plugs drained it flat before it managed to start)
Obviously every situation is unique..... But I know...
