    Infinity Customs - Bristol

What a shame, customer service-wise, as I bought one of their beds last year, and absolutely love it. Great for the money, looks nice n clean, simple to handle, loads of storage space underneath, and off-season it comes out the van and flat-packs away in the garage. Knowing what I'm hearing...

Battery dead after working in the van

Booster NO, Charger yes. so if your battery is flat . . . and you have EHU around a 20-30min charge should be enough to start the van (10A charge rate)(no internal battery) a booster is for total remoteness with no power . . . it will just start from its own internal lithium battery pack.

    Full width bed on rails

You could consider a caravelle rail conversion... which would be a lot cheaper than the above. You would need a 'multiflex' board in the back as the seats folded flat, are only 2/3rds of a bed. The rear board is actually really useful when packing the van. We then have a 'stee free' mattress on...

Solar panel - no display, no lights on the panels, no power

Loads well some low voltage lighting but the fridge would have been the main culprit I expect. I had it plugged into ship to shore power but I think by that stage the battery was juked!

Hi Looking for any help on this problem. My battery was dead flat when i went to the van yesterday, having not been anywhere for 4 weeks.... Tried to jump it with a power pack but that was no good. Had the battery on charge overnight and it appears to be holding a voltage but now the half the...

    Wot a shower

Can’t see it on my C&CC membership @JOG, but its good kit and def worth asking to see if you can get a discount for the forum I’d say. I also have a Colapz bucket, ideal for the van as it packs flat, but holds 16 ltrs, plenty for a shower.

Portable Power Packs - LifePo4 Battery Boxes -- How I done It --

@Shaun Witts so if the unit still outputs power, and will take a charge from the solar during the day....... When the BMS soc has drifted out of wack. Is it a problem that the BMS display is out? Ie if you just totally disregarded the fact it had a SOC gauge and just used it blind would that...

    EVO Design Extra Low units

Has anybody fitted one of these? I’m debating wether to fit a 150cm RIB bed, or 112cm and have a bit of storage to the side. It is going to be a day van, no pop top or kitchen. Be interested to see any real life photos of them in a van.

[GUIDE] Raising the floor height to match OEM rails

Thanks. Unfortunately I dropped my new router and broke the handle off. Its now useless :( as it won't adjust the height. I will have a look for the lighting bit. Yes, I need to work out the correct colour for the steps, as I will also need a drivers door step that's vented for the heater when...

Camper van virgin, looking to pop my cherry!

...set up a van conversion business over the last two years or so and some of them haven't a clue. I went down the self build route, with a flat pack kitchen from Evo Designs, but I got them to leave the majority of the panels uncut so I can choose where the cupboards go and how big they are (I...

    Caravelle ceiling mounting points

My van's still on it's long trip from factory to dealer so I can't confirm as yet. Folding the seats flat is normal caravelle behaviour so that can't be it... you shouldn't need a multi board either.... rear seats in bed mode, middle row folded flat with table in middle and the goodnight pack...

    Sidebars and wheel jacks

As was recently pointed out to me, make sure the bottle jack will fit under with a fully deflated tyre. I’m also packing a chock to drive the flat tyre on to. It’s a fine line getting the jack range and spacers correct.

[GUIDE] How to fit Van-X curtains to a T6 (barn doors, VGC flush-sliding windows)

I've read their instructions but I don't understand where the screws go through the rails. Can anyone mark an x on this picture, and tell me which side of the rail goes nearest the glass? Edit: found a clue... The rails have changed, so by widest channel they mean no channel. The (only)...
