I have finished my convertion from Panel van to full camper. The last job was the wheels.
Purchased direct from Wolfrace online. TPMS valves & tyres fitted. Came well packaged.
2 miles down the road and the pressure cam up wrong. Changed the tyre size in the infotainment system and Hey Presto...
Sorry, ignore what I said, I shouldn’t reply on a Saturday night when I’ve had a drink!
I read “the pressures I’m running” as “tyrepressures I’m running”! Sorry.
Mine came from KwikFit and I used the mobile fitting service.
Left him to it.
When he rang the doorbell and said all done I walked out to check - he fitted Hankook but not the model I ordered. Same load rating etc. His comment was ‘they’re just the same’. However, none of the three scores (for...
Assuming your wheels aren't fitted with pressure sensors, are all the tyre treads on each axle roughly the same? I've seen people fit only one new tyre and once the vehicle gets up to the higher speeds, it triggers the light due to picking up the difference in diameter between new and worn tyre
Hi all,
I’m currently running 275/40/19 tyres and looking for a sweet spot in pressure!
Any advice welcome, first van and only managed 750 miles in the past 12 months so a novice with this stuff!
Cheers
...to normal spec (road tyres) the noise from the rear is perfectly normal and acceptable.
I have gone to town with the sound deadening/spoofing and still it's no better, also tried different tyrepressures 35-65psi.
Now looking to change to the Yokohama Geolandar G015 or Falken Wildpeak instead.
An interesting thread. I've recently changed from 225 60 17 Cooper ATT (max inflation of 50PSI) on 7" Devonports at 45PSI to 8.5" Fuel Coverts with the same tyres. Due to the wider rim, I've lowered the pressure to 43PSI. The van is a full camper conversion and runs nice on road at 43PSI...
Others have a less vague diagnosis shortly, but think these may be to do with a faulty ABS sensor in a wheel hub.
I had very similar issues and my OBDeleven reader found one of my rear sensors was faulty.
Try searching the forum for ABS sensor faults?

We don’t fit that size (it’s too big) but for our standard 20” wheel installation
275/35
255/40
265/40
We recommend 36 up to 40
You will get perfect tyre wear at this pressure. Start at 36 and make sure your alignment is spot on.
Don't know if you have access to the coding he used to add this 'Individual' profile?
I have almost identical scenario to you and need to add the Individual profile to allow my direct TPMS to work correctly with my new 20's
Appreciate your help (or anyone else's for that matter!)
I think the 5F-adaptations are just fine for the indirect TPMS.
If you want to experiment:
So the coding for the indirect TPMS has been verified to work. Please redo it.
Untick module 65-Tire pressure from 19-Gateway > Installation list > Save
Check if the direct TPMS screen has disappeared...
...not too particular to what is chosen as a replacement. Oh and by the way, I would never trust any garage or tyre supplier to take tyrepressures seriously with regards to accuracy, always measure ones own. :)
Side note, unrelated, years ago I owned various Ex Military Vehicles some still...

I've been running the same size crossclimates (see attached thread above) on T6 T32 LWB Kombi 2WD 204BHP mostly unladen since Oct 2021, swapped front and rear as fronts had more wear but apart from that still...
Hi @Garyf123 what did you resolve as tyrepressures for your Agilis on Devonports? I have the same set up front and still have two original Goodyear Cargo Vectors on the rear. Manufacturers recommended pressure for full laden van is 58 all around. That would be 5 people and luggage so I figure a...
If it helps, when my left rear wheel sensor failed, as well as ACC, TyrePressure and Traction Control errors; I also had 4WD and ESP errors. I never had these go when my right rear sensor failed a while back.
