    Tyre Pressures 255/45/18

Thanks for the response. Got some advice from a Facebook T6.1 group too. Base van was a Kombi. Just ever me in it as a passenger but consensus does seem be that something like 45psi all round is best. I haven't noticed any uneven tyre wear with the existing pressures. Visually the front...

All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

The pumps that i use run the big risks of blowing a fuse so I always connect direct to +ve and an earth usualy engine hoist ring under the rubber cover or the bonnet shot on the front grill...

    20” Tyre Pressure

Geometry and tyre pressures are the fundamental requirements for a good tyre life. If it was me the first thing I would do is get a full laser alignment done. If you can get the vehicle weighed noting overall weight and each axle weight with vehicle in the every day configuration. Distribution...

TPMS Alerts but no pressure loss

T6 or 6.1? Pretty sure they have different systems, T6 uses the abs wheel speed sensors and tyre rotation, where T6.1 uses actual pressure sensors in the valves.

    Tyre pressures 215/60/17

Hi, I have a T6 T32 with full camper conversion. It has 8J x 17" alloys with 215 x 60 x 17 tyres (Michelin Agilis cross climates) Steve at CRS lowered the van by 60mm with Evo Teknik springs and Koni short shocks. What would you all recommend i set the tyre pressures at? Thanks, Gary.

All terrain tyres - recommendations and pictures

A valid and useful point regarding pressures. Not many people realised that the Wildpeak 3 has a maximum pressure of 40 psi written on the side wall either... In the past year I have taken up motorcycle Trial riding. Typical pressures are 6/4 PSI front/rear. When it's particularly wet people...

    20’s any regrets?

...they weren’t too bad in that respect. My concern was that I had the 3 separate blistered tyres. I always felt like I had to watch the tyre pressures constantly. If it was too soft (38-42) the inside of the rear tyres looked bulged and if it was the right pressure (45 ish upwards) it was...

Front tyres - heavy wear on shoulders

Hi all, i have an ex-RAC T6 with 20 inch wheels, the passenger side tyre is wearing on the outside edge. I have had alignment checked and tyre pressure are at 42 psi. I've never seen wear like this on any vehicle before, anyone with any idea. Your help is much appreciated.

    1st mot & failure

Sounds more like an an alignment issue - never heard of the roundabout wear problem? Tyres are one of the most common reasons for an MOT failure. Always check tyres on a regular basis for uneven wear and damage. Check pressures on a regular basis. Don’t present a vehicle for MOT without first...

    LAUNCH Creader V11+V2.0

Interesting... also as there were no fault codes as a real low pressure incident always triggers a fault code (of course assuming the code reader can actually read VW ABS controller). I think it's something else - possibly similar to challenge in below...

    Show us your 17s

What pressures are people running with 17” Wildpeaks? Also, they seem to be all terrain AND winter (3 peak) tyres - are they OK running all year round? (Bit late now they’re on but hoping to run them all year!)
