My T5.1 works van is on 179k now and runs and starts great. Most expensive thing was the high pressure fuel pump went at 178k cost a grand. I did however delete the EGR after it failed for the 3rd time

Please can someone explain what happens when you delete the adblue system? Whar does it mean can it be done to a t6 or is this a t6.1 thing?

Does this problem with the faults go away with the egr delete??

if you delete the EGR and get it coded out does this affect any remap on the ECU? thanks

No hardware fitted. Deletes done via a remap.

That’s not cheap either, I did ring a few places and it would be cheaper just to get the issue sorted at a main stealer, also an ad blue delete is apparently pretty complicated to achieve and has all sorts of negative knock on affects.

Hi all, thinking of getting my egr deleted and remapped, eml light is on more than its off at the moment. Does getting this done affect the MOT?

I’ve searched the forum & can’t find a definitive answer to my query, so here goes. Hypothetically, if someone had a 204 bi turbo T6, & physically blanked off the EGR valve & gutted the DPF. Assuming the person in question had a fully functional VCDS, what coding would be required to complete...
