The fog lamp unit are not sealed so whatever bulb you fit they will need to be waterproof to some degree.. I had to conformal coat and silicon seal my Switchback H11s for Autobeam.. no problems since then, but this isn't trouble free!

They advised that the used vehicle warranty specifically excludes leaks and perished seals. It was the seal that perished causing the water ingress. Not had any issues since replacing.
