204 is a 204. I have a 180 CFCA which is the discussion topic, it has never consumed oil. Oil consumption with a CFCA should never be regarded as normal IMO.

180 cfca engines have well document issue with egr failure leading to high oil usage....search cfca and it should bring up lots of info

I have a 2016 CFCA manual and one thing I’ve noticed is that being in gear either reverse or 1st doesn’t hold it in position on the ramps. I use reverse with a quick hand brake application.

Unfortunately this appears to be yet another CFCA biting the dust. It's going to be a cylinder head off job to inspect everything, and just hope this one is a cracked head or sticking valves etc, but I think everyone knows where this is heading...... It's not just the actual compression...

Which engine variant? It's not a 180BHP bi-turbo CFCA by any chance, have you had it long enough to find out if it uses loads of oil?

...valve would only be noticed by doing a longer (than just one sample) recording. The procedure shouldn't change anything but never checked on CFCA engine - so indeed better safe than sorry. Interesting - possibly the implausible signal value was captured already when doing startup...
