Yes. I finally got round to insulating/carpeting/leisure battery etc and the extra weight was noticeable when braking. Feel much happier with the new setup - fitted the @Nutexa Frictions grooved/dotted discs, painted the calipers etc so performance and looks :)
I used Dodo Thermo Fleece 50mm from Sound Deadening Shop
My insulation is made up of three layers:
- Silent Coat 2mm
- Dodo Thermoliner 6mm
- Dodo Thermo Fleece 50mm

Rainbow screens insulated cover here, fantastic fit and works well. My black van in the summer can get to 45-50 degrees inside (hit 43 degrees in 24 degrees last summer) but with the thermal cover in 32 degrees sun it only hit 38 degrees. Without the cover that would have been 50 degrees or more...
Adding insulation & the Loc8 table to the side door can cause the door to sag under the additional weight. There’s adjustment on the door running gear, you might be able to dial it out.
